The last year had been trying on Artemis. Joined a guild after being scared to, made a good friend, got a girlfriend, got killed on a low level mission, brought back as a vampire, got pregnant, got cure of vampirism and now has a kid on top of the one her girlfriend had adopted. And the year wasn't still wasn't over. The last 11 months had been busy but now Artemis had returned to Clover town, however it wasn't to meet back up with her guild to let them know she was alive. In fact she had been entirely to busy to even think of that. Today was one of the few days she had not much to do so she decided to take her daughter and take her out for some fresh air.
Currently Artemis sat at her favorite cafe. Sadly it seemed as if the cafe had entirely new employees as no one recognized her. She bought some food, grabbed a high chair and took a seat outside. She face Rachael, and she prepped the child's bottle. She had made sure to bottle enough of her milk for this outing. It would be easier to keep the now premade bottles in a cold container and reheat them rather then feeding Rachel directly. Mostly it was because Artemis was still nervous about feeding in public She made some funny faces at her and was received with giggling and cooing. The slightly chubby blonde hair pup seemed to laugh at almost anything. She watched her daughter's wolf ears twitch with each new sound and Artemis couldn't help but smile at giggle.
Artemis' hair was a bit longer, she hadn't really had time to cut it and her hair was long to begin with. She had her hair tied back in a make shift ponytail, mainly to just get it out of the way. One could see what she was wearing around her neck. A fancy collar which she remembered excitedly shown one of her guild mates when she got it. Artemis remembered because the mission she wen't on was one to watch over a wedding so she had a reason to get dressed up which she never does. She had bought a dress but the collar she wore quite literally drained her of all her funds. It was expensive and it showed. It was covered in emeralds and sapphires. The collar it self was made of a high quality leather, it was easily the most expensive thing Artemis owned yet she still wore it. More accurately she just forgot it was there. She was used to wearing it by now that it didn't even register that it was on.
"Come here honey, it's feeding time." said Artemis plucking the small child out from her chair and gave her the bottle. She snuck some bites out of her own food when she gave Rachel a moment to breath.
"You are a hungry girl aren't ya." cooed Artemis as she saw the contents of the bottle slowly drain. She looked up and in the direction of the guild hall. She was so close by. She could stop by to let them know she is alive, or at least let Natalia know. Natalia was one of the few people she considered friend and yet Artemis had disappeared on her with the rest of the guild.
