    Description:
    With this magic, Silvaetus turns into a mechanical golem-like being: 2.2 meters tall and weighing roughly 30 tons. This form is the result of combining magic and mechanics/science, where the user’s entire body is changed into a magically sustained machine. The user’s conscience/mind is converted into a complex matrix of data. Not one part of the body is biological, thus making it immune to magic that affect a human body (poison, burn and bleeding). In this state he can create any manner of machine/contraption in any size with any function; from guns to traps to even more colossal machine than the user itself. All constructs need magic to operate: the magic acts as more of an ignition whereas the machines themselves can sustain function for a longer period of time, but having to cool off after usage. The condition is that all constructs must have the body as a point of origin. When the user learns a new spell/makes a new construct it is incorporated into the original form, with the original form acting as a container. Once the user is completely out of magic he/she reverts back into their human form.
    The reason this magic is called “Ancient Gear” is because the design of all the machines are either clockwork-based (where you can clearly see the “gears” of the machine) or steam-punk based, giving the design a very old impression (thus “Ancient”). More than on gadget/construct can be attached to a limb.
    Simply put: it’s the manipulation of machines (Silvaetus can also make his body adapt into every day, non-combat things e.g. a grill or a coffee machine or produce non-combat gadgets e.g. radios, flashlights etc.).

    Strengths:
    This magic is very versatile since it can be made to adapt to any situation. The basic form seems somewhat frail while it actually very sturdy made up of 30 tons of Adamantine metal (the hardest metal known to man). Since the user discards a biological body he/she is immune to status effects (paralysis, hallucinations etc.). Since adamantine is the toughest metal it has a very high melting point and corrodes very slowly; seeing as how it is reinforced with magic it gets stronger as the user increases their magical ability. Naturally the user gains mechanical strength (enough to crush solid adamantine bricks in the palm of a hand), not getting physically tired. Loosing limbs is also no problem: as long as one piece of the body remains it can repair itself fairly quickly. The weapons are NOT restricted to ballistic-type weapons, but also energy weapons and other forms of weaponry is possible. Spells two ranks below the user (if the user is B-rank  spells of D-rank) are of no affect and purely physical attacks are not recommended (it’s possible to do damage – but have you ever tried to hit a 30 ton construct consisting of the hardest metal). The user can still use all spells without turning into a mechanical golem-like being (turning only parts of his body into a machine). Due to the immense brute strength combat without using gadgets/constructs is possible. If there is are any machines near by, it is possible to use them as “raw materials”, thus saving some magic when creating/activating a construct/gadget.

    Weaknesses:
    The metal may be hardy, but it is still vulnerable to very intense heat and extreme oxidation. Melted/rusted parts will have to be discarded and replaced (a repair). All actions, except basic movements (walking, punching, talking etc.),require magic and repairs can drain a lot of power, depending the extent of damage that has to be repaired. Once the user runs out of magic the mechanical body disengages and the user is left almost completely vulnerable. Another downside is that the normal mechanical body can only stay on land due to its mass (though there are spells that can change that fact). Also the more powerful a spell the greater the recoil/consequence (low ranking spells have almost none/minor recoil). Then there is the movement speed. Because the body is so heavy it takes a massive amount of strength to move; even with hydraulics the movement speed isn’t as fast as a human, but close – the height which results in longer legs compensates somewhat for the decreased running speed. Reaction speed is also reduced, but since the brain of the user is practically a computer, timing movements becomes easy.

    Abilities/Powers:

Healing wounds are just simple repairs and can also be done manually. The body also possesses inhuman strength (can crush adamantine) and is (since it is made up of metal) hard to break.

    Armor Plating: The metal armoring of the mechanical body becomes stronger as the user does. Spells 2 ranks underneath the users rank are either completely nullified or do very little damage. In addition Physical attacks may cause a backfire on the attacker (e.g. if the attacker punches he may/may not break his hand)

    Description:
    The user attaches two MG 42s (7,92 × 57 mm) to his left wrist in a casing. It is capable of penetrating light armor.

    Strengths: It can be use for suppressing fire and can attack from a distance.

    Weaknesses: The shells will bounce off thicker armor and lose speed through water. Fire may melt the shells if it is hot enough. If the limb is destroyed the spell is deactivated and must be recast.

    Description:
    The user turns his body into a mechanical golem-like being.

    Strengths:

    This form is land-locked and thus cannot float/swim (as if 30 tons of metal ever could). This form can Rust (though only when it is exposed to a vast amount of concentrated oxigen) which resuts in a compulsory repair. It may also melt (though only at extreme tempretures) which also results in a compulsory repair.

    Description:
    This spells repairs any damage to the mechanical body. If the mechanical body is torn apart it simply reassembles it.

    Strengths: Can heal all damage to the mechanical body.
    Weaknesses: The greater the damage, the greater the cost of magic.


    Name: 3,7 cm KwK 36 L/46.5

    Type: Mechanical
    Description:
    A 3,7 cm KwK 36 L/46.5 gun (a smaller tank cannon) folds out of the users back and attaches itself to the right shoulder. It fires armor piercing (can penetrate armors one rank higher than the user’s rank and have an explosion radius of 1 meter) and high explosive (blast radius of 4 meters). The cannon can point in any direction (360 degree movement capability)

    Strengths: This is a long ranged heavy weapon and can deal serious damage. It can penetrate armors one rank higher than the user’s rank. The high explosive shells deal more damage than the armor piercing ones. (note: I will use AP and HE for shorts). Can be optionally used at close range.

    Weaknesses: The AP-rounds are affected by distance to the target; the further away, the less armor it penetrates. The HE-shells are unaffected since it is only meant to deal explosive damage. Both shells are slowed in water. Close range usage is possible, but only at the users own risk.
