Clutching the job sheet in her head, the light blonde haired girl's eyes were wide as she shook her head and read the details contained on the paper all over again. 'Harper Goldenshine.' She muttered as memories of reading articles about his renowned treasure hunting skills, crawled its way into her mind. So, Harper Goldenshine had found a way to the treasure. Scrunching her brows, Zoe now recalled reading the tale about the treasure that the original Ten Wizard Saints had hidden within the very depths of the Ancient Ruins. At first, Zoe thought it was nothing more than a story however, wizard stories were as real as they get. Who would have thought that one day this girl would venture on a job to stop The Gem Brothers from attaining the treasure. Not to mention, if she did succeed, a prize of 10,000 jewels as well as an item from within the treasure itself would grace her with its presence. Quite a hard offer to resist.
She had already started her journey towards the Ancient Ruins having found the job sheet on the floor of Magnolia. However, at the same time, she was not sure if she should have taken up this job. It seemed like quite a difficult one; but looking at the vast amount of prizes it was offering to both legal and dark guilds, she wouldn't be surprised if she came across someone who was on this same job as her. The council must have been quiet desperate to even send this job request to dark guilds as well. However, she did hope that someone would also come on this job. It would greatly increase their chances of winning; even if it were a dark mage, as long as they were attempting to do something good even if it was for the money, she would be okay with her.
Stretching, the blonde kept on walking remembering the time she had first came to the Ancient Ruins. Back then, she just had to save small village from a siege they were under; this time, she had to find a treasure passed down by the first Ten Wizard Saints. This would indeed be one mission that would be remembered; whether it would end with her emerging victorious or not, it would depend on if she had the resolve to face them head on. And that was one thing she did have.
'Harper Goldenshine and Gem Brothers; you won't be getting your hands on this treasure anytime soon.' The girl muttered as she crumpled the paper in her hand, strolling forward approaching what was known as, The Ancient Ruins.

Elizabeth Ginevra Silvershield! It's already past noon, get up already!
In a dimly lit room in Clover, the only light being the one tht entered through a small crack between the curtains, a petite, feline-like creature could be seen, attempting to pull the sheets off of a petite, yet curvaceous figure, that, on her turn, kept pulling the sheets back. Sitting down, tired, the feline-like creature huffed, starring at the woman under the sheets, its eyes landing on the veil of scarlet hair , wondering that, if he pulled her by it, she would wake up. Shaking his head, the poor creature realized that if he even made an attempt to do that, his owner, the owner of the scarlet hair, would decapitate him in a second. Jumping on the bed, the creature began pawing the woman, making her groan and cover her head with the sheets, yet that did not stop the feline, who, persistantly kept pawing. Liiiiz, come on now. I need someone to feed me. And you accepted a request on which you have to go.
After a few moments of silence, a gentile hand rose from under the sheets, seeking something around her lazily. Watching the hand, intrigued, the feline didn't realize that he was supposed to jump off now, before the woman, Elizabeth, got annoyed. Passing her hand through the feline's head, Elizabeth caught him by the neck, softly placing him away, proceeding to cover herself with the sheets again. You are intelligent enough to find food alone, Zero. Let me sleep. That said, Elizabeth seemed to return to her slimber, ignoring Zero's further attempts to awaken her. Getting tired of trying, Zero sat on the ground once again, trying to figure out how to awake his master and drag her to the request she herself had accepted. I need to think of something Liz has showed interest in recently... And wake her up under the purpose that it's on, or someone she is interested in is here... Hey, wait a second... I got it!
Leaving the room, the Lightning beast quickly went to the front door, climbing on a nearby shelf and opening it, a mischievous smile adorning his lips. Careful not to knock anything over, he ran back towards Elizabeth's Bedroom, opening the door, attempting to hold back his laughter, hide his satisfaction of thinking of such an incredible plan. Climbing on Elizabeth's bed, her poked her waist, causing her to turn around, giggling. Who could have known, she was ticklish. How curious it was for Zero to discover that his owner was ticklish. It could be really convenient for future wake-up fights, such as this one was. Lizzy, some guy that introduced himself as Heero is here. Isn't he the one you have been talking about all week now?
Just as Zero had expected, this caused an immediate reaction from his owner's part. Quickly rising from her bed, she looked at Zero, terrified, sprinting towards the mirror, brushing her hair down quickly, making it look decent, not as messy as before. Grabbing a white shirt from her wardrobe, she quickly put it on, so that she wouldn't greet "Heero" only in her underwear, because, come on, that would have bee stupid of her part, although perhaps he wouldn't mind really... Sprinting towards the door, not noticing the forgot her pants, Elizabeth stopped in front of the door, passing a hand through her hair, a smile playing on her lips. Hey Hee- Staring at the hallway wall before her, Elizabeth needed a few seconds to realize that Heero wasn't there, and that her dear Lightning Beastie had tricked her. Turning around, she slammed the door behind her, walking towards the kitchen, not even bothering to speak with Zero, who could not stop laughing.
Quickly having breakfast and getting decently dressed, Elizabeth took the joob request from the table, attempting to shove Zero off of her head, locking the door behind her as she left her home. The Lightning Beast had figured out that his owner was genuinely pissed about the trick, yet he was sure that it was going to pass. Elizabeth was like that; when she was pissed for something not so serious, her anger would wash away in a few hours, yet when it was something serious as betrayal, she would not speak with people for days. Or even weeks. Walking towards the train station, yet without speaking to Zero, Elizabeth sat in a cabin, taking out Nightfall, polishing it while the train was moving, crossing her feet, not even looking at Zero, something which worried him quite a lot.
Oi, Liz. Lizzy. Elizabeth. Ginevra. Ginny. Gin. Liz Gin. Beth. Betty. Silver. Ginevvy. Eli. Eliza. Lissa. LIZ. Zero began poking her, tryig to get her to pet him, looking at her with teary eyes. I'm sorry! I just wanted you awake, that's all! Looking down at Zero, Elizabeth sighed, placing her sword in its sheath, placing a hand on Zero's head, scratching behind his ears. This was enough for Zero to know that Elizabeth wasn't pissed at him anymore. Purring, he curled up in her lap, allowing her to pet him, waiting the train to arrive. A few hours upon that, the Blue Pegasus mage, wearing a white shirt and slim jeans, her dark boots on and her usual jacket on, and the Lightning Beast, would head towards the Ancient Ruins, where their job was.
Smiling, Zero would play with Elizabeth's ahoge, smile turning into a grin a few seconds later. You totally fell into the Heero trick, though. Which means you like him~! Stopping in her tracks, Elizabeth looked up at Zero, her face becoming a dark shade of red, darker than her own hair. I- I do not! Stuttering, she tossed Zero off her head, which only caused the Lightning Beast to laugh louder, and begind jumping around his master's feet, like a cat. Standing still, Elizabeth would chase the Lightning Beast around, yelling that she did not like the Golden Salamander. Not watching where she was running, Elizabeth bumped into a girl, knocking the two of them over. Rubbing her head, the Thunder Knight got up, ignoring Zero, who was scolding her for not looking where she was running at behind her.
I'm so sorry... Zoe?!

As the light blonde haired girl strode forward, her mind now occupied with thoughts of food, she groaned a bit. 'Ah, I'm so stupid. I should've eaten something before leaving. Stupid, stupid Zoe.' She cursed herself as her stomach growled for the need of food to make its way to it. Amid all of her whining and grumbling, the hunger-stricken Zoe could make out some distinctive voices in the background. As she turned around to see what all the commotion was about, a figure clashed into her, sending them both pummeling into the ground.
'Ouch.' Zoe groaned as a familiar voice echoed in her eyes. Looking back up at the curvaceous figure in front of her, recognition flashed through the blonde's eyes. 'Elizabeth!' Her visage shifted from surprise into excitement in a matter of a few seconds as she exclaimed at the girl and from her position, Zoe jumped towards the girl and hugged her. 'It's so good to see you again, Elizabeth!'
The memories of their last encounter flashed through Zoe's head; it was at a Hot Spring. At that moment, a guild mate of Zoe's was present as well; Heero and he was the reason she met Elizabeth in the first place. Now that she recalled, there also seemed to be quite a potential bonding between the two, making Zoe giggle inwardly. The blonde had taken quite a liking to the scarlet haired girl. Letting her go from the tight hug that she had literally, forced upon Elizabeth, Zoe rubbed her head, smiling sheepishly. 'Hehe, sorry about that. I just got really excited to see you again.' It was then that the blonde noticed the feline that was supposedly accompanying Elizabeth. Grinning at him, Zoe proceeded to introduce herself. 'Hey! I'm Zoe. I'm guessing your Elizabeth's pet; nice to meet you.'
As she was finished with her introduction to the lightning feline and her head now not completely filled with excitement, Zoe began to wonder what Elizabeth was doing in the ancient ruins. A thought occurred to her that perhaps, she was here for the same business as Zoe was; to stop Harper Goldenshine and save the treasure that the original Ten Wizard Saints had buried. That was a very likely possibility as this job request was indeed quite intriguing and the only reason a person would venture out into the Ancient Ruins. Perhaps, it was best to ask and if the answer turned out to be yes, Zoe had no doubt that they would be completing this mission together. Or at least, she hoped so.
'So, Elizabeth. What are you doing out here in the Ancient Ruins?' The light blonde haired girl questioned, momentarily forgetting about her hunger which would soon come to bug her again in the form of a growl from her stomach as her face would take a shade of scarlet – similar to that of Elizabeth's hair – causing her to again, smile sheepishly at her company.

Looking at Zero, who kept jumping behind her like a retard, Elizabeth got up, brushing her clothes from any dust they had gathered when she fell, taking Zero from the ground and placing him on her head, as he kept jumping around awkwardly, mumbling something. The Thunder God slayer was amazed how her own pet could be much more immature and goofy than herself at times. It appeared that what people said about Pets being similar to their owners, was true, or at least in this case. Returning Zoe's hug, Elizabeth smiled slightly, her smile expanding as she noticed that Zero had, finally, stopped being a weirdo and was now sitting on her head calmly, like a good feline-like Lightning Beast.
As the blonde Fairy Tail wizard introduced herself to Zero, the Lightning Beast bowed, as if he was in front of a member of the high noblety, a princess. Hi there! I'm Zero. I'm guessing you're a friend of Lizzy's, judging by the way you two interact. Shaking her head, Elizabeth took her hand up, poking her pet's nose, giggling when he whined, softly hitting Elizabeth with his paw. They were quite a fitting pair, as an owner and pet. More fitting than Elizabeth and Catsu, anyways, as before Zero made his appearance, sent by Zeus, Catsu and Elizabeth had their good moments, but were often very distant, due to the sins Elizabeth had commited in the past... Thinking about her pat made Elizabeth feel her smile fade, and, as she placed the hand on Nightfall, her beloved sword, she felt as if it was burning hot, almost forcing her to remove her hand. Yet she did not remove it.
Oh, I came here for a Request. Elizabeth pointed towards the request she held, reading the job description quickly, so she could explain what it consisted in. It was her bad she didn't read it earlier, but oh well. Earlier she was asleep, and pissed. Reading the job description wasn't a priority back then... At least not for her. Some treasure hunters are trying to find a treasure hidden by the first Wizard Saint. I'm supposed to stop them from stealing it, and the Magic Council will reward me. Honestly, I don't give a damn about the treasure hunters and if they get or don't get the treasure. I just want the reward. Elizabeth chuckled, folding the paper and putting it in her pocket once again, all while placing her hands in her pocket as well.
What about you, Zoe? What brings you in the Ancient Ruins this fine day?

Seemingly chucking at the pair of female and feline that stood in front of her, the blonde-haired Fairy Tail mage couldn’t help but be amused yet impressed at the duo; they seemed to have quite a good bond integrated within them for each other and that honestly, made the girl smile at them. The light blonde-haired female, Zoe’s, ears perked up as she heard the redhead – Elizabeth – reply to the question she had put forward; about Elizabeth’s purpose in coming to the Ancient Ruins. Her reply did not seem to surprise the girl as she had somewhat guessed that since, Zoe doubted anyone would come to the Ancient Ruins at this time unless, of course this job was involved. Well, now that she had confirmed that both of them were indeed, in this place for the same reason, there was no harm in seeing why they couldn’t accomplish this job together and earn the rewards – which both of them were more interested in then the treasure hunters and whether they got the treasure or not.
Grinning at the Blue Pegasus mage, Zoe proceeded to say. ‘Well, isn’t this a coincidence. I’m here for the same job request that you are. To stop these treasure hunters from getting the First Wizard Saint’s treasure. Well, now that both of us are here, how about we do this job together? I mean, apart from getting the reward – which is the only thing I’m majorly interested in as well – we could kick some hunter ass too! And it’s always fun kicking someone’s ass.’ Speaking like a true Fairy Tail mage, the girl placed both of her hands on her waist whilst the grin still lined her visage; the blonde, Zoe, hoped that Elizabeth would be interested as well. Though, there was quite a high chance that she would.
Glancing around the seemingly vast and barren Ancient Ruins, it made the girl wonder a very crucial aspect; the location of the treasure. Zoe knew it was within the lands of the Ancient Ruins but where exactly was still a mystery; after all, the Ancient Ruins wasn’t exactly a small place. Perhaps, the job sheet contained its location. However, it was then Zoe noticed that she no longer had the job sheet with her. ‘Huh? Where did it go?’ The blonde scratched the back of her, confusion plastered on her face wondering where her job sheet went. Oh well, at least Elizabeth still had hers. Turning back to the redhead, still waiting for her reply, the female questioned again. ‘So, what do you say? Want to do this job together? Oh, also, you got any clue where exactly the treasure place is? Because I’m blank. And I kinda lost my job sheet too so yeah. Hehe.’

SO FOOLISH, SO PRETENTIOUS fortune does not favour fools. Coincidences were always a funny thing. Seeing how two people, regardless if they knew eachother or they did not, were brought to the exact same place, at the exact same time, with the exact same objective and reason, was a rather funny sight, in all honesty. It was even funnier if those two knew eachother. It was a very funny occurance, and Elizabeth quite enjoyed coincidences a lot. The fact that she and Zoe had came to the same place, at the same time, in order to accomplish the exact same request, both surprised and didn't surprise the redheaded Blue Pegasus mage; She hadn't expected to see someone she knew when she left her home this exact same morning, at least not in the same place and time as her, with the exact same purpose, yet she wasn't really surprised either, because, a Request of such importance, would be naturally posted in more than one Guild, and thus, it made sense that there'd be more than one person going on it. It was still funny, however. Zero seemed to find the entire situation rather amusing, just like his Master did. He kept sitting on her shoulder, the funny grin that had settled on his face not long ago never fading. It was possibly true what they said, about the pets being similar as their owner, and this case seemed to prove it... In its own way, of course. I'd love to join you! Being on a Request with someone is much more fun than simply soloing it! Elizabeth exclaimed, smiling. Handing Zoe the Request sheet, she placied her hand on Zero's head, caressing him softly. The bond between the two could be clearly seen at any moment, as, despite how much they could end up insulting eachother, or yelling at eachother, they always, always ended up cuddling or with Elizabeth petting Zero after that. Just like siblings. Looking at the endless Ancient Ruins, Elizabeth wondered what exactly this treasure consisted in. It peaked her attention, made her wonder what hid inside the chest they were supposed to protect. She was a very curious woman, and was eager to find out, even if that meant having to break her way through the crowd in order to find out, which, given the situation, would happen, regardless if she wanted it, or not. I'm supposing you know what the job is about, but anyways, if you want to make sure about something, you can use my Request Sheet, which I kinda gave you seconds ago. Elizabeth said, sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head, a grin on her face. Pointing towards the direction where most of the Ruins were located at, Elizabeth tucked in a lock of her red hair behind her ear, absentmindedly, beginning to concentrate on the request more than anything else. I say we get going. I'm not willing to waste my entire day some Ruins, ya know, and I'm pretty sure you don't want to either. Hoping Zoe followed her, Elizabeth headed towards where most of the Ruins were, Zero approaching her ear slowly. How strong is that girl exactly, Lizzy? The lightning beast asked, trying to avoid the reflex of glancing back at Zoe while he talked about her. Glancing at her pet, Elizabeth kept her eyes on him for a few seconds, her eyebrow risen. I believe I taught you that it's not nice to talk about people behind their backs, Zero. The Thunder Goddess hissed, shaking her head slightly. How rude of Zero, to talk about people behind their back. She was slightly dissapointed, yet couldn't avoid but ask herself exactly how powerful Zoe was, indeed. Shrugging, she looked back, in order to make sure that Zoe was following her, until a voice brought her eyes back to what was before her. Well, well, well. What do we have here? Two lost girlies? I may have some fun with you two before dealing with the stupid treasure... Hehehehehehe.

| "Thank you." The blond-haired mage said to the red-headed female who was now her companion in this mission to stop these hunters. It still baffled her as to where the job request sheet had suddenly, disappeared off to while it was in her hand, just a moment ago. This habit of zoning out would land this clumsy little blonde girl into trouble one day. But then again, doesn’t trouble come with the package of being a mage? The thought made her inwardly chuckle. Glancing at the two before her; Elizabeth and her pet, Zero, the female noticed that they had resumed their previous activity of the redhead petting the feline on the head; they seemed to do that a lot. But regardless of how much they did it, it was cute every single time as it clearly showcased their deep bond to each other. Listening to Elizabeth’s suggestion about starting to move along, the girl, Zoe nodded in reply as the Blue Pegasus mage started walking, taking the lead whilst Zoe followed. Scanning the surrounding area, the female wondered when they would be encountering these hunters. It was a fact that they would be quite strong considering that the magic council itself sent this request along with a huge bundle of reward. Their foe would not be someone who could be easily defeated. And at this moment, Zoe was glad to have Elizabeth alongside her. For a fact, Zoe knew that Elizabeth was stronger than her and a mage of a higher rank as well. What a nice coincidence though. Because now that she thought about it, if supposedly Zoe were to engage these hunters in combat by herself, the chance of her emerging victorious was quite slim. It made the girl inwardly face palm herself for venturing out alone but she did have only the reward in mind when she did so. And now, she was thanking the fates for sending Elizabeth and Zero, somewhat like saviors. Though, regardless of that, it did not mean that she would not fight. No; not at all. In fact, she would give it her best shot; do what she could. How much power their opponents possessed was still a mystery but Zoe would give it her all. And on that note, a voice made its way to the direction of both the females. It was easy to guess who this voice belonged to; one of the hunters. After all, who could be present here apart from them? And the fact that they are here must also be an indication that the treasure is close. Raising her eyes to look at their enemies who were standing above a big rock, a set of five men came into view, each holding different arrays of guns in their hands. "So, I’m guessing you’re the mages who came here to stop us, eh? Kinda guessed by this." The man held up a paper; the job request, Zoe’s job request sheet. "Shouldn’t have let it flown away. Even if a piece of paper falls into the wrong hands, who knows what can happen?" He was clearly mocking and underestimating them. Scrunching her eyebrows, the blonde looked at them as a she inwardly, readied herself for battle. One of the men jumped high into the air and from one of his many guns, he released an onslaught of five bullets aimed at the direction of the two females. Quickly jumping backwards and taking off into the air, the blonde decided to handle this one who was still in the middle of his jump. With a roar, Zoe brought her right leg forward as the name of the spell escaped her lips. "Wind Kick!" In a spiral motion, the surrounding wind accumulated around her leg from the thigh down as she positioned herself so that her leg would slam directly into the hunter’s gut. And luckily, that is what happened. Not expecting the fact that Zoe possessed the ability to fly, the hunter was a little shocked. However, before he could reload his gun to shoot again, the mage had already landed the kick in this gut making him tumble downwards onto the ground landing with a ‘thud’ as Zoe hastily made her way back to Elizabeth in time to notice the rest of the hunters jumping down from the rock as the one Zoe had hit, slowly but surely got up. "Oh, damn." The female slightly cursed. "It’s probably going to take longer to defeat them than I thought." |

- Mission Stats:
- Mp: 95%
Hp: 100%
Spells Used:
:: Wind Kick – 1 Post.
Enemies Defeated:
:: Normal | Professional Treasure Hunter – 0/5- Spells Description:
Name:
Wind Kick.
Rank:
D
Type:
Wind; Offensive.
Description:
The spell is cast by either saying the name out loud or saying it in mind. For this spell, the wind accumulates around one of Zoe’s led in a spiral rotation motion till the thigh allowing her to kick her opponent with more force than normal due to the wind making her leg heavier and therefore, adding more force which results in the opponent being getting attacked with more pressure. Since this spell is capable of dealing double damage, it costs 15% extra Mp.
Strengths:
:: Doubles the power of a normal kick therefore dealing 2 D-Rank damage.
:: This spell is powerful enough to kick through stone (if it magical and that of the same rank or lower).
:: Due to the kick being struck in a particular area of the body, it is capable of greatly damaging that particular area (e.g. arm or chest) and causing a great deal of pain.
Weaknesses:
:: The spell depends on the overall physical capability of the user. This means that if the Mp or Hp is 30% or below then the spell will have little to no effect at all.
:: It is useless against users who wield some form of metallic magic or weapons as they will be able to block the attack.
:: It is possible to accidently hurt an ally if the user somehow loses concentration and their aim becomes off.
:: If this spell is used against any sort of long-ranged spell, then it would have no effect.
