Brainstorming

Alright people. This is where we're gonna discuss ideas for the site. Events, magic, plots, ect. ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!

I'll kick start this thread off with a few of my own ideas. Starting with one I've been sitting on for a while and that I think Night will hate me for xD Well quite a few people on our fair Fairy Tail are actually somewhat avid duelists. And since I know a site thats good for having tourny brackets, and dueling network makes it so we don't need to know each other or have a lot of money to buy cards, I was thinking of hosting a lil Yu Gi Oh tourny. It'd be a bit of work, figuring out what exactly is too much BS and to have it banned, but I'd be willing to work it out if anyone else supports the idea. Other than that, at this time of 6:14 a.m, I am out of ideas. SO LETS DO THIS FELLOW MODS. CONTRIBUTE YOUR IDEAS!

First suggestion
NPC creation
We can create NPC of people of great importance, like the King of Fiore or people in our plots.
Second
The Rune knights, they are a special unit under the Magic council.
Generally they are the militia, we can create NPC or have people apply for them.
Third
We dont have rules on take over?
Fourth
New Maps or at least adding places into our current maps
Fifth
This should have been the first XD.
Organize, we should have mods that are experts on magic apps and characters apps and on both. They can work in teams, like a master and trainee.
Clear up, clear up the char apps and magic apps. Those that have been sitting for too long should be archived.

This thread is great by the way, this way we can meet even if were not online at the same time.

Who's up for making rules on Take-Over magic?

Can we insert a rule in our site rule that applications that are inactive for over a week without proper notification would be archived?

Can we add raw material items that can be used to make weapons and armor? And to add to them, can we put on forges where people will make the weapons/armor. But in order for them to do so, they will need certain skill level in smithing. That will add to having a separate smithing skill level. I kinda suggested this so that people won't have to continuously buy custom weps at the shop.

You'd have to think of a system for that.

I think it would be wise to hold an activity check especially since hibernation ended.

Somebody made some magazine and its really nice, its at the graphics section.

What about armor, and such. I know not every mage is gonna be wearing it but hell there are many types of armor....I took this roll on before but it may be of use and I am still stuck on it.

Ive been saying this for like forever.
We need activities for newbies. Maybe we should sticky post it or something.
Like the RP where new mages are traveling to towards their guild headquarters.

Maybe we can do something like this:
New members are automatically part of a elimination-type tournament. The winner will receive his choice of either jewels, or a custom strong+ weapon. A tournament can only have a maximum of 5 contestants and the jewel prize will be more or less 10K.

A tournament for rank D members?

If it was D rank it would get us more D rank starters which is an ok thing, but we need to make sure that there is a balance. But D rank members with strong weapons doesn't really seem that even, an artifact that can increase their magic power slightly however will be a bit better. But nothing strong, just moderate that most other D rank members cannot get, but doesn't make them so much stronger than the rest. If we get more detail as to what this item can be, someone will have to be responsible for creating it.

Not necessarily just D-rank members. For all the new members regardless of their ranks. Or would you like a separate tournament for new members that are no longer D - rank?

I think it would be fair to just have it aimed at new D rank members. D rank is the lowest and everything else above it needs verification. SO anyone new basically would choose D rank. It would help inspire people to stay a bit too to get a chance at the tournament again if they are still D rank.

After that though, we should try to make some tournaments for upper ranks to help keep that same appeal in and help advance ranking.

I'm down with hosting a tournament for the newbies. Sounds fun

It would help lessen the burden. Plus the sooner you finish them the sooner we can move on with adding new contents or concepts.

Again talk to Seijin, I am not really knowing how to get that done, him and Zeno were running that entire thing.

It would speed up things, Im afraid he is going to loose motivation again real soon.
