    Spoiler:

Katherine was feeling much better after comedy night than she had felt before. The paleness had finally left her skin and she started to feel healthier, stronger and better than she ever did before. This could be due to the emotions that she felt during the comedy act. The laughter and joy rang pleasantly in her ears as she said joke after joke. What was it that caused her to feel this way? Why was her Storm magic deteriorating from her very body? Lately it was slowly getting harder and tiring to use the magic she descended to Earth with. Was she soon to no longer be a mage? Was she just going to be a normal human with wings in due time?

Katherine sighed as she packed her bags to the new job that she signed up for. Her weakened state did not allow her to take high risk jobs that she normally enjoyed doing. However lately these very tasks was giving more strength and energy with each help that she did. People believed in her and the joy was making her stronger. Carrying her when she got tired and limp. What was this new energy that she was gathering? What was it that made her go on like this? This never happened to her before. Katherine walked down the streets of the seaside town where the Hargeon Orphanage was trying to collect more money to help feed the lonely Orphans and properly clothe them. So the Goddess was going to help in any way she could, if that was even possible. Maybe even give a donation as well in the process. What she did not expect from the nuns was the following words coming out of their mouths.

"We want you to use your magic to grab peoples attention so that people will go to the Orphanage and Donate."

    "Excuse me?"

"We have tried everything. One of the children suggested that it was because we were boring in our endeavors. So we put up a board requesting for someone to help attract attention. You are the only one to have answered that."

Katherine was speechless, but the Angel could see the point. The children were dressed in what could only be described as rags. So what could Katherine do? It was not like she could use a big magical storm to wow and amaze people. She had to think small, but wanted to give these children a new hope. Katherine smiled and raised a single finger up in the air, "I know, lets take all your children out and in the view of everyone. One can't ignore children in need when they are in their faces. Let's just go out for ice cream and have them play a game at the park." This made Katherine chuckle, it was almost like she was a mother again. Living each life for the benefit of children. It was nostalgic to the angel and left a warm feeling in her heart. Katherine waited for the nuns to ready the children and they were all outdoors. In order to keep children entertained she with much exhaustion and effort made a miniature storm contained in a sphere of compressed air. The rainstorms endured as she threw the magic at a child who caught it like a ball. Wonder and amazement was on the faces of both children and passerby's alike.

Eventually after getting ice cream from the stands and children playing with the makeshift ball of storms, Katherine looked at the children and reminisced her time with her daughter. This was a lot to take in, Katherine realized she was not being a better role model for Alyia. A better role model for the Eclipse Soul, but that needed to change. She could be a better example of what Eclipse Soul could be. She entertained people by having black electricity shoot between her hands. Not many people ever saw Black Lightning before. The nuns were of course using the opportunity to collect a small amount of donation from the onlookers. Everything was going to be fine if only the rain did not start. People dispersed and tried to get cover in the buildings that surrounded them. One of the children tugged Katherine's jacket and asked, "How are you so cheerful even when your tired and constantly struggling? Why are you always smiling?" Katherine looked at the child, one that was jaded by the peoples indifference to her. She was tired, but if she could give hope to this one girl. To show her that the world was not as Dark as she perceived it, there would be a better day. Katherine said, "Because when the darkest moments come, when hope is lost and you feel alone. There will always be hope for a better tomorrow. Because if we give in to despair, it spreads like a cough. It will get worse. Just remember that at the darkest scariest nights..." Katherine smiled as she reached into the last vestiges of her magic and struggled to pull. To show a better tomorrow could happen, at first she struggled. It was exhausting as every cell in her body screamed for her to stop. However she pushed and eventually the clouds broke and the rain stopped. A single rainbow formed in the sky as she finished her sentence, "...There is a Radiant dawn. Do not give up hope. Do not despair. It takes a brave girl to endure the hardest hardships."

The young girl smiled at Katherine who patted her on the shoulder and transferred the last of her magic to the child. She could have the magic that was once Katherine's s that she could make her better tomorrow. It was at that moment Katherine's mind began to fracture, as if her mind was always in a mirror and she finally cracked it to what was on the other side. There was something else, another Katherine that was seeping through the cracks. And it was... powerful.

Katherine shook her head slightly before going to the nuns and giving them a check for ten thousand jewels. This was so the nuns could dress the children and give them some kind of hope. However to that one girl that she never gave her name... She was able to make her own hope. Katherine smiled as the group walked away, eventually leaving view as the now powerless angel walked the other way.

    "Tomorrow is another day..."
