Gil Vessalius

Personality:
He’s everything a King should be and more or at least that’s what Gil would have you believe. While his demeanor and attitude is often like that of a King he lacks every good thing that a King should have. He’s not selfless, could care less about others, and is far from kind. His ‘Kingly’ qualities basically consist of his pride, ego, pompousness, dangerously competitive, and has a belief that everything in this world is his. He’s vain about himself and his possessions and considers them to be ‘the best’ even if they aren’t. When it comes to his posessions he is not the type to share and will be quick to anger if someone tries to take what he considers his. He only cares for himself and count the number of other people he cares about on one hand, including himself. However when he chooses he can have excellent manners and even a charming personality that would put even high class members of society to shame. Unfortunately he rarely chooses to do that unless he can gain something from it, besides that isn’t his true nature. He can be rather lazy at times as it appears that he expects things to simply be served to him on a golden platter, literally. It’s also extremely difficult to get Gil to take anything seriously. To him life is just one big game for him to play. However, if there’s one thing Gil hates then it would be losing a ‘game’. He’s the type who if he lost a board game he’d snap the board in two and demand to play another game that would suit him better. He’s the exact same way when it comes to life, if he loses then he simply destroys what it is he ‘lost’ and start again with something he knows he can win. In other words he’s a poor sport when losing or being a loser. To avoid being a ‘loser’ he instead chooses to do things he knows he can win which is once again almost everything; to him that is.

Inside of battle Gil is practically the exact same person only ten times worse. He’s quick to taunt, jeer, and laugh at his opponents. He’s lazy in battles that he deems to ‘boring’ or to ‘easy’. He only takes battles seriously if he feels challenged enough, if his competitive nature is being pushed, or if he wants something and has to take it. Gil is every leaders worst nightmare come to life. He will buttheads with a leader every step of the way simply to get them riled up. He does what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants regardless of what the leader wants him to do. Afterall to Gil, his way is the best way. He himself makes a decent enough leader. He’s incredibly commanding, controlling, and well has a voice with great authority. The only thing he lacks as a leader is a care for others. He has no problems sending people out to their deaths and could care less about others and their capabilities.

Likes:

• Staring in the mirror because he is simply that gorgeous.
  
  
  
  • Drinking. Preferably a fine wine for only the finest man such as himself. It helps pass the time as he spends his days away lazily.
    
  
  
  
  
  • Winning because to him there’s no feeling greater than the feeling one gets when completely defeating something or someone else.
    
  
  
  

Dislikes:

• Naturally he dislikes losing and being considered a ‘loser’ because to him that is simply unacceptable.
  
  
  
  • Anyone who views themselves above him because once again to Gil there is nothing or anyone above him.
    
  
  
  
  
  • Sharing. He detests sharing and refuses to participate in such a horrendous act.
    
  
  
  • As bad as this sounds Gil does not care for things that he considers 'ugly'.
    
  
  

Motivations:

• To be recognized for his greatness by everyone and everything.
  
  
  
  • To become a King and be treated as such. So that way no one would ever be considered ‘above’ him and he would be treated as he rightfully should.
    
  
  
  
  
  • To attain anything and everything he wants in the world. He deserves it right?
    
  
  
  

Fears:

• Being the vain man that he is, he has a rather irrational fear of becoming ugly. It is actually one of his worst nightmates.
  
  
  
  • To have something forcibly taken from him and not getting a chance of ever getting it back.
    
  
  
  
  
  • Not feeling in control of something. He is very much so a control freak and if someone were to take away his control over even the littlest thing, he’d very much so have  a freakout.
    
  
  
  

General Appearance


Height: 6’4
Weight: 140lbs
Hair: Blonde and is often spiked/slicked back. Though being the bain person he is he often changes in between hair styles . Occasionally he’ll let his bangs/hair hang down naturally as a change of pace or when he’s to lazy to slick it back.
Eyes: Changes depending on what he’s wearing but it’s generally a dark amber or a ruby red.
Skin Tone: He has relatively fair skin.
Appearance: He’s tall but proportioned just right. He appears to be in excellent shape despite his laziness and alcohol consumption. His vanity and pride unfortunately don’t come from nowhere as he can be considered a rather attractive individual (until you get to know his personality that is). His standard clothes shift from a t-shirt and pants, to fur lined coats, or even clothes that would suit that of a roman emperor. When going on jobs or going to battle he’ll often wear armor of sorts so he doesn’t get any ‘scars’ on his ‘perfect’ skin.
