Katherine was enjoying her day at Peace Village enjoying a cup of tea and cheesecake at a local cafe. The tea was this peaceful herbal tea and swett chocolate cheesecake that simply melted in her mouth. Katherine was tired from the many jobs that she did, Katherine would otherwise prefer doing a much larger job. However it was the little jobs that helped the little people that could not afford much. Still a job was a job. Anything was better than poisoning rats at a house that was filled with trash and rat feces. That job was a living nightmare for Katherine and the pay was much too little. They were paying too little for too much work, but otherwise the jobs could be much harder for her. At the very least that they were not in danger when dong so. Katheine eventually finished eating the food and drinking her tea before picking up a pamphlet that declared a businesswoman needed help taking care of children. Katherine smiled widely as she like taking care of children. They were darling little angels that were seeing the world with new eyes and innocent souls. They were reflection of peoples souls after all.They were miniature versions
The weather was clear, but fresh snowfall was on the ground. Melting by the sun above she approached the house and managed to pick up the boys. They were twins that had one that was hyper and the other was calm. However Kat decided it was best to escort the children to an amusement Park to burn off energy. Mostly Katherine never been in an amusement Park in her entire life. She wanted to know what the fuss was. Katherine was practically skipping to the amusement Park when all was said and done. Katherine herself was going to have fun.
Peace Village, a funny name for a town that talked about peace love and happiness and today she was taking a pair of twins to the amusement park. Katherine was good with children since she went up and died as one. Deep inside katherine there was a child inside that could relate to children, despite their hyperactive and mischievous nature. The boys were being babysited by Katherine while the mother went to a very important meeting that would seal her families business contract over for the next couple years. So the mother hired an experience mage known as katherine, also known as the Angel of Chaos. And the amusement Park was a little bundle of Chaos that Katherine enjoyed.
Sure the little tykes tried to run off, but Katherine Slayer senses and the ability to rainbow step to catch up made their excited escapes a short one. However Katherine was given an allowance to play several of the games that were available. One of them even winning them a prize in that regard. A stuffed giraffe for winning at a game of throwing balls into little cups. Katherine smiled as she bouth them cotton candy. A bit of Katherines inner childhood was emerging from her that excited her. It was games from the time when she was alive and well like as a human and able to enjoy senses like a normal person. Simple games would excite her as there was little to no play time, but now children were lucky to even be children. She was expected to work in the fields at the age of 9 back in her day. Something that children nowadays take for granted. They were lucky to go around and play. They were lucky enough not to worry about food not being on the table. They were lucky not to have the burden of being mortal. Katherine sighed, but continued to let the children have fun.
She enjoyed eating cotton candy and watched the kids get on the Ferris wheel and enjoy the closest thing to flying for them. Katherine knew it was a poor imitiation from the true gift, but at least there was just enough distance up in the air that would let them give the impression of flying. It was like the time that Katherine was learning to fly for first time as a recent angel, naive eyes open to a world full of stimuli. However the world turned into a dark place when one grows up and hardens their hearts. Katherine shook her head and escorted the children to varying amusement rides like bumber cars where they enjoyed crashing into one another. A haunted house where she swore that one of them went white as a ghost. And lastly the roller coaster, but the children got sic after that. Katherine was happy to escort them home. It was a good day, but a lot of energy was expended in their playtime. Katherine piggyback the 2 children and brought them home so that they could recover. Katherine for once felt like a mother again taking care of the children that were around her. Katherine smiled at a job well done and also took a nap. It would be pleasant dreams for Katherine. She was sleeping with little to no dreams, but a dark oblivion that would not wake up unless extreme stimuli. Katherine woke up 15 minutes later when the mother returned home, but woke,silently picked up her money and left for the night. Small pay for taking care of small children. No other job could make her feel this young again. Katherine loved children and hoped she could take care of them again.
