-the handwriting on the poster changes as the author does as well-
Oh boy, sorry about that. Hey there, my name is Dawn. Like my colleague so eloquently put it, were in a spot of danger here. You see, our town sits at the bottom of a basin. As you may know, a basin is a extent or an area of land where surface water from rain, melting snow or ice converges to a single point. We are literally surrounded by water here. About three days ago, a explosion rocked our small town. Two of our levees were damaged. Sabotaged, actually. You see, seeing the fragility of our situation, explosives are not permitted in the village. Somehow, someone managed to get enough into the town to put a size-able hole in the two levees. We can worry about the who-done-it, later. We would like help in sealing the holes before the weakened levees burst from the pressure of the water. After that is all said and done..help us find our traitor.
Enemies:
Because of the explosions, the normally docile animals in the forest outside of the city have gone feral and are liable to attack someone on sight.
Weak: Urion Monkeys.
These monkeys tend to travel in groups of two or three. They do not have many combat abilities, however, they have excellent gymnastic and reflex skills. Precision attacks are not recommended when fighting these animals.
Normal: Nightgale Cats.
These cats are no mere felines. Beware facing them at night, because they have almost perfected the art of hunting. Once these animals stand still, they are almost undetectable by the normal human eye. The best time to strike would be when they are moving, or during the day when their black fur is most noticeable.
Strong: Tynaran Bull.
This bull is related to one of the fabled animals of the Zodiac. They do not appear often, and when they do, they spell trouble for all, but mostly young women. This bull mostly ignores males and goes about it's business, but if it thinks there is a woman around, it will charge into a seemingly unstoppable rampage. It is to be avoided, because it is equipped with horns able to pierce thick tree trucks.
Reward:
Upon fixing the wall and helping find out who the traitor among the people of Scion and finding out why he or she did it, you will be treated to a feast by the townsfolk and be given 2,500 jewels.
Ryo was quickly moving through the dirt road that lead to the mountain village. At his side as always was Gora who was bounding along at a rather steady pace. The pair of them had to head to the mountain village and had to be quick about it. Ryo didn't have to worry about the third person in their group as Ian was capable of flight. He knew that Ian would most likely already be ahead of both him and Gora.
Despite the urgency of the mission Ryo couldn't help but rejoice and be merry at the fact that he and his love Ian were doing a mission together once more. it had been a very long time since the pair had actually done a mission like that together, and it was about time for the pair of them to work together again. This mission was an important one, a whole village faced annihilation since the levies to their dam had broken. Ryo didn't know quite what they were going to do, but he knew that they had to try something otherwise the whole town was doomed. It was entirely possible that Ian would have some idea, but he knew one thing and that was that it would take the both of them in order to not only fix the levies, but they needed to find the person who endangered the town.
As Ryo and Gora ran they saw that they were coming upon the town. Ryo looked to Gora with a nod "Good job boy. Let's make sure we keep an eye out for Ian. He should be here already, if he isn't then we need to wait. He'll be able to help." As they entered the town both Ryo and Gora stopped inside and they began to walk towards the other end at a slow pace keeping an eye out for Ian to arrive.
