Daiko Learns Magic

Training:

~~ Day Before ~~

Daiko walks slowly through the town, looking for the one Guildhouse he hadn't visited. This building loomed over the entire area, and he knocked on the door once. Pushing it open, he sees a variety of Mages running about, grabbing jobs and having fun. "Hey, can someone bring this to your Guildmaster, Fūjin?" The black haired boy waves a letter, looking into the eyes of the people. Someone eventually came up and grabbed it, the rough paper slipping through his fingers. "Alright. Make sure he gets it by the end of today." Daiko then turns around, walking out of the expansive building. It was nice to see a new guild around, and they seemed pretty friendly.

Daiko rubbed his eyes, slamming his head on the table in his house. He had training with Fūjin the next day, and he couldn't catch a wink of sleep. Perhaps if he knocked himself out that would work. Rubbing the welt on his forehead the teen decided against it, and headed to his bedroom. He flopped down on the bed, sticking his head under the pillow. Maybe if he closed his eyes, some sleep would come to him... If not, that.. would suck.

That night he had little to no dreams, his mind a blur of unused emotions. Daiko saw vivid images of his friends, family from the past, and of his guild mates. Although smiling at him, he felt a bit uneasy. It wasn't how they smiled normally. There was something different. Was this a hint to something to come? When the morning came, he would forget all about this.

~~ Morning ~~

There's a clatter somewhere, and a kid launches up from his bed. Landing on both feet, he pushes his hair back, revealing deep purple eyes. Daiko looks in the mirror, making a face at his appearance. He looked terrible. Pulling off his wrinkled jeans, unzipping the dark brown sweatshirt and throwing off his shirt, he ran into the bathroom, turning on the shower. He tests the heating of the water, and it's perfect. Stepping in, he lets the water go down on top of him, and he looks up. He had a long day ahead of him, lots of training. He usually didn't train this hard, and was both excited and anxious about the events to come. 

Shampoo is rubbed through his hair, as he looks up toward the water. It splashes his face, so he closes his eyes to the stream of the water. Getting it all out wasn't much of a problem. Stepping out, he grabs a towel, drying his shaggy hair, and rubbing the excess moisture off of his body. Throwing on a shirt that said 'Dai-Kun' on it, he throws on a panda sweatshirt, along with some looser jeans. He still dressed like he normally did, but made sure none of it constricted how he moves. 

Onto his arsenal. He took his twin pistols out, turning them in his hands. He slips them in a holster on his pants, then cracks his knuckles. He was ready for action. Grabbing a cup of coffee, he downs the entire thing before heading out the door.

~~ Hour Before ~~

Daiko drifts through the city, as he often did. There wasn't much to see here, and frankly, he was bored. He spotted a few shops, none really peaking his interest. That is, until he reaches one shop. This one looked out of place, and were different then the rest. It looked like it was imported straight from another world. He steps inside, being greeted by a man that looked normal. Spotting a certain candy, Daiko's mouth begins to water. This isn't ordinary candy, this is Strawberry Candy.

The Mage hadn't seen these candies in forever. You could put them in your mouth, and it would be as juicy as biting into a ripe strawberry. "I'll take five bags." Daiko nods, scoring sideways glances from the cashier. Taking the bags of candies, he dumps them in his mouth. Each candy sits in his mouth, slowly sliding down his throat in delicious wonder. He shivers to himself, the candy slightly reminding him of a forest. This forest in particular was filled with giant creatures. Giant snakes climbed trees, making their meal anything they could keep up with. 

Tossing out the empty bags, Daiko checks the time. He had to be by the training grounds right about now. Running, he leaps on the side of a building, pushing off to give himself a boost. He soars through the air, going his full speed of 81 miles per hour. He feels the wind in his face, seeing the spot where he was to train. Stopping his flight, he begins to fall toward the center...

~~ Now ~~

Daiko falls toward the ground, spiraling during his decent. He sees himself coming toward the ground, doing a quick turn. The Mage spins on his heel as he lands, catching himself with his other foot. He then yawns, rubbing his eyes. It seemed like his trainer, Storm, Was not here. Making a 'hrumph' sound, Daiko sits on a log. 

Noting the scenery around him, he sees a small pond to the south, and an entrance to a slightly thick forest to the north. Going far to the west, it was easy to see a drop off into a deep lake, the edge of the cliff slanted downward. Letting out an exasperated gasp, he looks up at the sky. It's partially cloudy, the blue of the sky above peaking out. The sun was shining brightly, though behind a cloud. It was a nice day. No rain seemed to come, unless the man who was training him like to train roughly.

"Uggghhhh... I came too early..." Daiko rolls off the log, waiting. Nothing seemed to come yet, and this disappointed him. If only he had flown slower... Maybe then he could have made it actually on time, rather than early. Not bothering to check the time, Daiko hops onto a tree, climbing. Getting to the very top, he looks down. There is a huge drop down below, but the boy doesn't care. He hops off, doing a cannon ball. Flashing into smoke form, he lands on the ground with a 'POOF', and he stands up, becoming human once more.

Miya in her child form was sitting on a balcony as she looked down at the guild's main hall keeping an eye on the members while Fūjin was out running a few errands, when a black hair boy entered the guild hall waving a letter in his hand "Hey, can someone bring this to your Guildmaster, Fūjin?" Miya floated down coming up to the boy up and taking it from the boy's hand slipping it through his fingers "Sure I can give it to Fūjin, do you want to leave your name or-?" she was cut off by the black hair who seemed to be in a bit of a rush. "Alright. Make sure he gets it by the end of today." he said to her turning around and walking out of the out of the guild hall leaving Miya confused for a moment actually walking past Fūjin as he returned to the guild hall just after the boy had left carrying a few bags in one hand while carrying a barrel of Red Wine on his shoulder. "FUJIN!" Miya said running up to him glomping him but was unable to knock him over as he placed the bags and barrel on the bar top which the bar tender took away to the kitchen behind it. Fūjin laughed smiling and ruffling her hair whilst scratching the behind her fox ears causing her to sigh smiling and her tail to wag "Hiya Miya, so did anything happen while I was out?" Miya nodded as she then handed Fūjin the letter that came for him "This came for you while you were out."
"Really? I wonder what it is about."



Fujin awaited sitting hidden in the branches of a tree with Miya who was still in her seven year old form in the area had ask him to meet the one who wrote the letter which was a small secluded grass plain that had a small pond to the south located at an entrance to a slightly thick forest to the north, far to the west, it was easy to see a drop off into a deep lake, the edge of the cliff slanted downward. Miya had fallen asleep using Fūjin's lap as a pillow as they waited for the black haired boy Miya had described, from what Fūjin had gathered from the letter the boy was a wizard from the Fairy Tail Guild who was seeking to learn a second magic. He had some questions for the boy as the letter raised some in his mind but his trail of thought was interrupted when something crashed into the ground from the sky before walking to sit on a near by log. Miya woke with a jolt clinging to Fūjin scared for her life as he hopped down from the tree "So are you Daiko?"
