History:
Krieg was raised by the Metallic God Crom. Crom was generally gloomy and very unforgiving, more than once had beat Krieg to a pulp if he failed to rise to the god's standards. When Krieg rose above standards, Crom praised his tenacity and courage, the only things the god appeared to value. As he became stronger, Krieg rarely fell below the god's standards, always pushing himself to become stronger. Stronger than the God himself, one day, Krieg always told himself. That was all he cared for. It was all he knew, the training.
Krieg was often sent to carry out objectives, honing his skills, his survivability. He rarely came into contact with humans, except for the jobs, mainly toward the end of his training, in which Krieg was supposed to fight them. He never talked to his victims, mainly because he did not have anything to say to them. He had a purpose, and rarely had time to sit back and do nothing.
It was not long before Krieg adapted to remaining in his Metallic form during all hours not spent asleep. The training was harsh, but Krieg was starting to have little difficulty with it. The day Krieg had been waiting for, for all his secluded life came. Krieg and Crom got into a heated argument. The former rared back and slammed Crom with all he had, landing a devastating blow to Crom's jaw.
Crom apparently had not been expecting Krieg to be so serious, a costly mistake. War ensued as the God fought the God Slayer. The battle lasted a long time, both were becoming exhausted. Krieg managed to break through the God's guard once more, and exposed the opening with all he had. As a result of the battle, Krieg had earned the title, God Slayer, and Crom lay still.
After sleeping for an entire day, regaining his strength, Krieg set off into the world of the humans he used to hunt. He was careful, studying their ways. He never attempted to enter a city though, disgusted by what he saw. Such utter weaklings, he thought. No need to waste time with that.
So, he lived in the wilderness. He occasionally saw travelers, which he ignored, pretending they were never there. He had survived in the wilderness for days at a time before, when Crom sent him there, as part of his training. He had never been taught about fire, it was not important to Crom, as they both were fairly immune to fire. Krieg was told that extreme heat could melt his steel, but he had yet to experience anything close. Krieg hunted animals, drank from the rivers, and generally slept under a tree. He found this peace disturbing, and before long, he began to train again. He knew with how evenly he was matched after he dealt a crippling blow, that Crom was actually stronger than he was, if both were at 100%. He had yet to surpass him.
One, a note appeared, floating in the air before him. Krieg had no idea how it had gotten there, slightly troubled by this fact. It read 'We know who you are, Slayer of Gods. Your talents would be put to great use here. If you are willing, meet me deep in the forest tomorrow night." Very suspicious Krieg thought, but he was taught to never fear. If he was vigilant, he had faith in his abilities to help him survive.

The forest was dark, and Krieg walked rather along silently, listening for signs of other life. The soft ground helped to muffle the sound of Krieg feet. He continued walking around, the letter never gave a specific location. He was almost about to change his mind when he stumbled into a group of half a dozen people! Out of nowhere! How had they gotten this close without him noticing? Krieg prepared himself, turning his body to titanium, which had almost become a habit when he was startled, ready to fight.
One of them stepped forward, unafraid, holding up a hand. A small flame lit above his palm, showing his face to Krieg. The man was pretty old, but Krieg felt immense danger from him. "We are Shadow Wing. Our magic has shown you to us, God Slayer. We are a powerful dark guild, and we invite you to join our ranks." Krieg accepted, curiosity aroused by these weak looking people, who gave him chills. If they were strong in that state, maybe it would help him become stronger in his. Krieg walked into their group and began the next step of his life.
