Motivation: Gabriel is looking to get into the magic council PR department because of his growing concern between the relations of guilds and the council. Coming from a region of Fiore that was caught up in a series of riots that caught his family killed he desires to to work with the magic council and the people of Fiore to ensure civil peace.

Personality:
Gabriel is about as self righteous as it gets. A tad absorbed in the mindset that because he suffered tragedy he is somehow elevated to this higher stage of existence. That because he has faced loss everyone who has not is beneath him. This also gives him a bit of a self-declared divine mandate to pummel injustice wherever it can be found. Always driven Gabriel is perpetually looking for new ways to help society. His biggest concerns lie with civil chaos, he is strongly disgusted by rioting and police brutality. He believes in a solid and honest bond between the people and the people who rule them, should that bond collapse he greatly fears the consequences. He has become a great people person capable of confidently speaking his mind in front of any amount of people. A naturally talented mediator he is adapt at taking middle stances and finding “third options” to ensure happiness for all parties involved.

However Gabriel can be a bit vindicated at times, as despite his extreme desire to prevent violence once it begins he goes head first all out. He is of the mind that if violence is necessary it is necessary that it is swift and effective. This creates a rather dualistic image of him, one being a kind and calm guardian against violence and strife and the other being an incredibly fierce combatant. Now naturally it stood to reason that no advocate of peace could be seen engaging in such heated battle so he always went through great lengths to ensure any battle he is in goes on out of sight and out of mind of the public. He takes this important factor so easily that he on multiple occasions allowed himself to be hospitalised by attackers rather than raise a finger in retaliation. He has gone through great training of pain endurance and patience for just such occasions which made him seem highly patient and forgiving. Although he never was truly the forgiving type as he had a nasty habit of holding grudges. Honestly his biggest driving motivational force was infact was just one big grudge against his old man.

Which brings us to his daddy issues. Something about losing your arm and your mother at age 6 during a riot a day after your dad walked out on you does things to a person. So without a father or mother figure for most of his life Gabriel has a tendency to become attached to any authority commanding elder figure which has had mixed effects throughout his life so far. The biggest being he becomes a bit gullible for any “Luke I am your father” moves and the second biggest being that he is incredibly protective of any self-created father figures of his. However it isn’t recommend to attempt taking on this role for the sole purpose of the protection as they all have the tendency to perish. Which really doesn’t help Gabriel’s issues. However as he has moved away from them as he has grown older coming to terms with the fact that he will likely never again meet his father if he is even still alive and they have become less present, but still there.
Likes:
-Happy Families: Gabriel finds himself frequenting the creepy activity of going to public parks watching the happy, fully functional families at play. He knows he should stop but he finds himself drawn to that which he never had.
-Tranquility: Gabriel is among the few who are able to appreciate that as long as at least nothing bad is happening it’s a good day and can be content with that.
-Tea: Nothing hits the spot like it.
Dislikes:
-Absent Fathers: When your powerful magic dad who could have prevented your life’s greatest tragedy walks out the day before, it really sticks with you.
-Alcoholism: The number 1 ingredient of no-good dads, Gabriel avoids the stuff like the plague.
-Vandalism: Breaking glass, arson, the whole song and dance Gabriel really hates it.
-Police Brutality/Corruption: Don’t even get him started.
Motivations:
-Peace: He knows it’s overly idealistic to think he can achieve world peace in a single lifetime but someone has to start the movement.
-Daddy Issues: As unrealistic as the goal is Gabriel still wants to find his dad. So he can knock the damn drunk on his ass.
-Starting a Family: Gabriel wants to be the dad he never had, although this project has been rerailed on many occasion, it has always been a dream.
Fears:
-Becoming what he hates: Everyone fears becoming that which they hate the most, Gabriel is no exception.
-Losing his left arm: He really likes that arm, something about only having one makes you appreciate it more.
-Fire: As far as Gabriel is concerned fire is a symbol of the civil chaos he fights against.
