Investigation (Mary/Nightken)

Mary was sitting with a cup of coffee and some cake as she waited on Fairy Tail's guild master. This mass murder investigation was turning up with nothing. There was a picture caught from some surveillance and eyewitness accounts seeing her escorting one of the victims to the party. There she killed every single partygoer there and finished it off by painting a backwards Fairy Tail sign on the wall. What purpose was this? To see if the Guild Master had any knowledge of this. Standard procedure, maybe the man could shed some light on this manner. So she patiently waited for the man until he arrived, Mary would stand up from her table to shake his hand.

"Glad to have you come over. My name is Mary Mahoney. Can I buy you some coffee before we get started?"

Nightken received a summons letter from one of the Rune Knights about something involving Fairy tail. "This is irritating to find out we're suspects in a mass murder, but when I find out who did it I'll hunt them down for this." Nightken muttered to himself as he arrived to the cafe the investigator in charge of the case said to meet at. Seeing someone stand up and start waving for him to come sit next to her the only thing he could figure was that is the investigator. "I'll pass on the coffee I'm only here because someone is framing my guild for a crime we never committed." He said calmly taking the seat across from her.

"I will try to make this as painless as I can make it then. To be honest I am not too much of a stickler for bureaucracy... I just need a few questions."

That man looks like he is about to rip your head off.

Very reassuring Conquest...

Mary picked up a big stack of papers relating to the files of this case. She pulled out a single rough sketch of the person that eyewitness account. Passing to the Guildmaster she started asking a question, "Do you recognize this woman? It is believed she was a redhead with tattoos through most of her body. After murdering the entire party, she painted a backwards Fairy Tail Symbol in blood. Later investigations found that she also intercepted a job that was meant to be headed to your guild, so at first we thought it was one of yours." Mary began to shift uncomfortably, she was waiting till this man was about ready to explode. Maybe it would be wise to step back before then?

Looking over the reports Nightken started to get more and more angry. Once he saw the drawing of the person seen who did this his eyes instantly changed from emerald green to crimson. When his eyes changed color a demonic aura that was on par with his magic presence began to emanate from him. The cafe quickly was cleared out with everyone leaving as fast as possible. "So this is the person who framed Fairy Tail? She made a costly mistake." Nightken said calmly, but was clearly furious. The cafe shopkeeper was too terrified to approach them.

Mary felt the aura that was emerging from the Guild Master. As she was shuffling papers of what was not classified, she paused. It was an odd feeling as people were backing away in shock or terror. Mary felt something different though, because staring at the GM was a sense of raw power that inspired fear and awe to Mary. It would have caused her to normally walk away, back off or do something. Instead she was slightly staring at Nightken as she said, "Is it weird that my human half wants to run in fear now, but my dark side wants to kiss you? I keep finding weirder things about my nature everyday... So does that woman match the description of any of your guildmates?" Mary was trying to save herself from that embarrassment. Blushing slightly as she tried drinking coffee to cam her down.

Damn sinful thoughts Mary. Remember your convent training, mind over the physical...

Looking at Mary his crimson eyes seemed to pierce through the demonic aura as small black lightning sparks began to shoot off of him giving to most people an extremely intimidating appearance. The sparks had signs of having demonic energy as they shot off of him. "This person isn't part of Fairy Tail, but she has some questions to answer when I find her." He said glaring at Mary who was drinking her coffee trying to hide her embarrassment.

The waves were getting more intense and it caused her heart to race at extremely fast speeds as she was trying to focus on her job. The mixed signals from the aura were clouding her judgement as she said, "Well there may be a small discretionary bounty placed on her so... her days may be numbered. You don't anger rich people and a Guild Master like that and expect to keep your bones in 1 piece..." Her mind was racing as she wass trying to remember her old nun vows, but it took only a single image in her hyper imagination: Nightken without his shirt on. Mary's head hit the table after it squirted blood as she fell face first on a table. With a happy and dreamy sigh she completely blacked out.

Seeing Mary hit the table then pass out he calmed down and quickly checked on her. "Hey wake up! Mary I said wake up!" Nightken started to yell at the passed out girl in his arms. He checked the spot she hit her head to make sure it wasn't serious and was relieved that it wasn't. Generating a small electric charge in the palm of his right hand he went to give her a mild shock in order to wake her up, but was interrupted as his arm was grabbed by two little kids that seemed familiar to him.

Mary was attempting to wake up, but curious Celestial Spirits decided to take matters into their own hands and popped out of the dark portals. One was a pair of blue headed twins  that looked at Mary with blank stares, the next looked like a neko in a black nurse outfit and last one looked like a rough & tumble girl. They all looked at this whole scene as they started a scandal. The rough and tumble one said,"Oi this demon just killed Mary with an orgasm! You know what this means...?" The 2 just looked at her funny as she finished, "...Freedom! I am now going to go eat some people." The catnurse immediately stuck a syringe into the wolfs neck which caused the girl to fall flat on the floor. It sighed, "Really Fenris... It's not like she ever stays dead for long. Well hello, my name is Siany and the sociopath is named Fenris. Well I can see why Mary fainted for you. Want a physical?" As she said it, a very dark smile spread across her lips as she squeezed something out of a syringe. The twins were still staring until they said in unison, "Mary is still alive. The demonic aura disturbed her Dark Celestial Spirit side." Touching unconscious Mary the twins were to immediately transform into the unconscious girl as they said, "And she is dreaming about doughnuts. This is the first time she has relaxed in a while."

When Nightken looked up there were two more most likely spirits appeared. One looked like a wolf girl who's comment sort of shocked him about making her pass out through orgasm and the other was a cat girl nurse that was trying to give him a physical. "Wait a minute what the hell is going on she fainted shortly after saying something about half of her wanting to run in fear while the other wanted to kiss me?" He asked still holding Mary in his arm. Looking at the twins he tried to figure out where he's seen them before until he realized they were Gemini. "Its been a long time since I've last seen you guys and its nice to see you two again." He said to Gemini as he put Mary in a booth seat so he isn't having her faint again from her being in his arm.

Gemini Mary looked at Nightken as it gave a puzzled look, "Do we know you?" It then approached Nightken and touched him, allowing memories to flow into the 2 as eyes opened in realization. "Oh! Your Nightken! You were just a novice when we last saw you! How is Mr. Sparkles doing? How is the rest of the Fairy Tail crew coming along?" Personality was different, but that was because it emulated the personality of the form it took. Siany on other hand was throwing Fenris back into the portal as she said, "Mary is half one of us. Her mother was a very powerful Dark Celestial Spirit and reacts to certain stimuli differently. Lets just say that your darkness basically put her into a very comfortable sleep." Mary finally was stirring from the table as she murmured, "I just want to eat one more doughnut..." She was slowly starting to wake up as Siany said, "Well if you ever need that physical... You knoow where to find me~" And with a mischievous and somehow scary wink she returned to the Dark Celestial realm leaving only Gemini and a half awake Mary.

"Heero and the guild are doing well I'm not that same kid from back then." He said to Gemini as he took a seat in a chair across from Mary. She was still half asleep and talking about doughnuts which he didn't expect. "Mary could we get back on track? What are the Rune Knights going to be doing about this incident? I'd rather not tell my guild about this because you know how Fairy Tail is they'd try tearing Fiore apart in order to find her." He asked trying to make Mary wake up completely.

"Isn't that the truth..." Gemini Mary giggled as she remembered events that Nightken recalled. There was a lot of mischievous fun in that guild that she partly remembered. Mary almost immediately got up with a jolt as she quikly stammered over to get her papers in order and pretend this never happened. She wanted to leave as she was blushing bright red about this. Why did she fall asleep on this meeting? This was so embarrasing!

"Well I am wiling to share non-classified intel, but to be truthful this is very much going to end with either that girl hanging or killed by one of us. So we are going to investigate further, pull an APB on her. The usual, but to be honest that will be hopeful at best. We are however going to make sure no political whiplash happens, this is not FT method of operation so to speak."
