After finishing a more "emotionally stressful" job, Hakumi was ready to take on another one. For her next job, she was looking for something a bit more exciting and considerably hard. She wanted a job that would involve her to think a little more and put some of the knowledge she possessed to use. She was also looking for a job that gave a little extra, as she was trying to get to C-Class as soon as possible. But if she had to choose between the two categories, she would choose the one that offered a little bit more than other jobs. She found a job that required her to entertain patients, although it would have her to think a little, she would only receive what she receives most of the jobs she took on. Then she found a job called, "A Wizards Grace!" The title of I intrigued her, so she read the details. The job required her to figure out what was happening to the crops in the Beanstalk Village. The description said that the crops were "behaving" strangely. Behaving interested her, because crops are inanimate objects. She read further on and came to the conclusion that the crops were most likely cursed. The effects on the crops are usually caused by curse magic, as she had seen it in action as a child. After reading the details, she looked at the reward. This job offered three times as much as a regular D-Class job! She decided that she would take this job and set out to Beanstalk Village.

Re: A Wizards Grace!
As usual, Hakumi had walked to her destination, as she thought it would improve her physical abilities. It was a great walk to beanstalk, as she knew beforehand so she started to head for it at night time. When she was close to the village, she stayed at an inn for a night before heading out again. The walk to the village from Hargeon was about 54 miles. As she arrived to the village, the sun was bright and shiny over the calm meadows of Beanstalk Village which distributed vegetables into some major cities in Fiore! Hakumi went inside the village and talked to the farmer requesting the job. "The crops have been behaving strangely and I'm completely baffled as to what is happening. Our village and cities in Fiore rely on you!" The farmer said. Since there were no wizards in the village, Hakumi imagined that there were no wizards in the village. "Don't worry, I'm on the case! I'll put everything I know about magic to help you solve your problem!" Hakumi told the farmer. Before entering the field of crops, Hakumi went around and asked some of the inhabitants of the village if anything like this had happened before in the village. The villagers told her that that was the first time anything like that had ever happened in the village. Hakumi knew that it was curse magic, but couldn't quite figure out how to get rid of the curse without finding the person that cast the curse. She imagined that it was a dark mage, she hoped to find him or her and force them to remove it to avoid banging herself up again. Before heading into the field, she spent the night at a residence in the village. After that, she went to the chief. "Do you have any other requests for the job? I am about to get started and want to make sure that we are clear on everything that you want me to do." Hakumi told the chief. "I want you to find out what's wrong with the plants, but I do not want you to harm them in the process, the crops are for this year's harvest, and if they are late, it could ruin our business with the major cities in Fiore, and we need their funding to keep the village up and running." Hakumi said okay and headed into the field. Suddenly, some strange objects came our of the soil.

Re: A Wizards Grace!
Whatever came out of the soil tried to attack her! It lunged toward her with its head, however she dodged it. It was a strange looking creature. It was big, but looked like a for cob. She assumed that it was a plant demon, as she had read about them once. They never really interested her, but she now wishes that she had paid more attention to them. If she had, she would know what to expect. After the first corn plant demon attacked her, another came up behind and lunged toward her, she tried to kick it, but another plant demon had attacked her from behind, causing the attacks of both to land. The first one hit her on the leg, the second on the arm. She flew back but quickly regained her balance. She ran toward two of them and grabbed them and threw them toward one of the other plant demons that had emerged from the ground after she had been distracted by two of the plant demons. She wasn't ready to use magic yet, so she had been using physical attacks on them. All five of them lunged at her, but she dodged it by doing a spin in the air above them, after dodging it, she tried to kick one of them, but missed. The plant demons had moved out of the way before she could land her attack. She could see that this would not be easy. She thought about her current situation."Me against five plant demons, all of a decent strength. It seems as if they deal a higher amount of damage than me. But if I used Cherry blossom storm, I could defeat them all at one time. But that attack would harm the crops. So that spell is a know. I could use rose garden! It wont harm the crops, it will just form around them! Yeah, that's what I'll do!" Hakumi was about to use the spell, but was quickly cut off by a plant demon lunging at her, she dodged it and attempted to cut the demon with a petal, but missed.
