This village is responsible for a good bit of Fiore's farm and produce production alongside River Village, and Peace Village. Everything from vegetables, too beef, too steak, too pork can come from here.
However; all crops in the village; have whithered and grown thorns. Quite strange no? They also glow with a strange light; as if some kind of bad magics are at work; holding the crops into this foul state.
There aren't any wizards in the village; so they're completely baffled how entire crop fields of wheat, corn, and tomatoes could just sprout black thorns, wither, and glow. It's very, very, VERY; strange to them.
However; when you arrive; the cursed plants react to your magic power; revealing to the villagers the source of the problem. Plant Demons; feeding off of their crops.
The Plant Demons appear; popping up in waves. They look quite cute; each Plant Demon either has a head and body made up of whatever vegetable it is; with thin white legs and arms; and glowing red eyes with a mouth that they love to use to eat real crops; and too trash talk.
They will pop out of the ground randomly when they sense Magic Power for the first time in Beanstalk Village; and attack. The curse will wear off when you dispose of the Plant Demons.
Enemies:
Weak: Tomato Plant Demon x10 (D-Ranked, these Demons are real trash talkers; nothing is off limits to them. With a body like a giant tomato. Despite their tough talk; they're very weak and go down in just two hits of D-Ranked damage each; they will try to belly flop and body slam their opponents; their special technique is 'Tomato Juice Cannon'; which blasts their opponent with a stream of ketchup from their mouth; careful it packs a punch and deals D-Ranked damage and knockback that will lift you off your feet if hit.)
Normal: Corn Plant Demon x5 (D-Ranked, these Demons have a body like a giant corn cob. They don't talk tough; but think themselves very stylish. They will attempt to body flop, and body ram opponents much like the Tomato Plant Demons. Their special technique is 'Corn Corn Cannon' in which they exhale a stream of Corn, flying at bullet speed. They hurt like hell; equivalent to almost having baseballs thrown at you. Enough of them will K.O even tough wizards. This deals C-Ranked damage if hit. The Corn Plant Demons go down in 3 hits of D-Ranked damage each.)

Their special technique is 'Broccolli Swat'; in which they cock their body back like a gigantic fly swatter, and slam their Broccolli heads down on their opponent in a gigantic smash. This deals C-Ranked damage, and can K.O quite easily. If caught off guard you will be slow to move around and be sore for the next post. The Broccolli Plant Demons go down in 5 hits of D-Ranked damage each.)
Boss: Dark Wizard (The one who put the curse on the entire Farmlands of Beanstalk Village; this guy is not to be trifled with. He is an middle aged man with an extremely impressive beard; wearing dark robes. He uses Curse Magic. Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The sun cast its radiant glow over the serene Beanstalk Village which was known for its vast amount of farms where most of Fiore’s produce production ranging from vegetables to beef came from. However, a calamity has fallen upon the village and all the crops have withered and grown thorns. The people in the village are completely baffled and therefore, decided to get a wizard to look into the matter.
As a result, Fairy Tail’s wind mage decided to take the job. Zoe walked through the village readjusting her bag on her shoulder, trying to spot somebody so she could ask for the chief. A while later, Zoe saw a couple of men sitting alongside a shop chatting amongst each other. Zoe walked over to them and greeted them, “Hello there. Can any one of you tell me where I can find the chief of this village?” A man who looked in his late 40s stood up and smiled kindly at her despite the tension coursing through him, “I’m the chief. How may I help you?”
“I’m here concerning the job you sent out, about your plants suddenly acting weird. I’m from the Fairy Tail guild.” Zoe said, showing her guild mark on her left arm. “Ah, yes. You see, all of a sudden the plants in the village started withering and growing thorns. Nobody in the village knows what is going on. The crops here are our basic source of income; without it, we are devastated.” Zoe nodded her head at the chief and said, “I see. Well, don’t worry, I won’t leave this village until everything is back to normal.”
She turned around to go to examine the crops when the chief spoke up, “Oh and could you please not destroy the plants? I’m only saying that because your guild has quite a reputation of destroying things.” Zoe laughed, “Like I said, don’t worry. I know what I’m doing. The plants will be fine.” And with that, she headed towards the crops.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Fields of crops stretched out across the land; crops that were withering and had thorns. It was a ghastly sight to behold compared to the usually green and luscious fields. Zoe made her way towards them and scanned the surroundings. This was something she had never seen nor heard of before, her mind started going through the possible reasons as to why this could have happened. This wasn’t due to anything natural, that she was sure of. She decided to go right next to them and examine; maybe getting a closer look would give her some idea was to what was happening.
And indeed, it did. As soon as Zoe bent down on one knee, she sensed something strange. Without any doubt, Zoe was sure this was dark magic and the presence was coming from the withered crops. She extended her hand forward towards one of the plants when it suddenly started glowing with a strange light. Zoe was positive that something foul was at work here. “So, it is dark magic. I wonder who would do this.” Zoe said to herself, keeping her knuckle on her chin in deep thought. She stood up and decided to go to the villagers to report of this. After that, she would go to the library present in the village to see some cure of getting rid of this magic. However, unbeknown to Zoe, there was something a few feet away from her that would do anything to prevent her from doing this.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Just as Zoe turned to head back, something came flying at her ready to slam in her ground. It was a blur however, Zoe was able to jump out of the way landing a few feet away from whoever tried to attack her. Rubbing her head, she got up and looked back with a glare at whoever tried to hurt her but the glare soon vanished when she came face to face with what looked like corns. A look of bewilderment came upon her face as it took Zoe a second to process what’s going on. A corn had just tried to attack her; but, it slowly dawned upon her that this wasn’t an ordinary corn, it was a corn plant demon. She had read about plant demons before and knew they that were not something to be taken lightly.
Zoe got up hurriedly and stood in front of the corn demons in a battle stance. One of them lunged at her from her right and another from her left. Zoe swiftly avoided this by taking to the sky, letting the wind surround her making her capable of flying. The corns stared in shock which Zoe thought wasn't possible but, it seems as though it was. From up in the air, Zoe looked down upon them and was sure that there were only five present. She put her hands in front of her and cried, “Air Blades!”
A magic circle appeared in front of her hands from which shot about 10 blades, each capable of inflicting damage upon the corns. Luckily, Zoe was able to strike one demon with two continuous blades; two of the demons were hit by one blade; whereas, the other two managed to evade any of the blades headed their way.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Zoe landed on the ground, her feet doing a light ‘thump’. She looked at the corn demons and was satisfied that she at least managed to land a blow on three of them. The corn demon that was hit by two of the blades looked considerably weaker than the others; if that was the case, then one blow might be enough to finish him off. Moreover, if she aimed properly then she might be able to hit the others as well.
Without a second thought, Zoe ran towards her targets, holding her hands out in front of her. “Air Blades!” she said, coming to a stop and simultaneously forming a magic circle in front of her that shot another 10 blades. Just as the blades flew towards their targets, one of the corn demon that Zoe had not taken notice of, rammed into her from her right sending her flying towards her left landing on the ground on her back. “Ouch.” Zoe groaned; though thankfully, she did not sustain much damage except for the fact that her back ached a little causing her to have a little trouble standing up.
Since she had fired her attack before her fall, she was successfully able to hit her targets since they were all crowded in one place. The one who had already sustained damage from Zoe’s two blades ended up getting hit with two more causing him to fall on the ground; the one who had gotten hit by one blade was hit by yet another one; and one of them who hadn't been hit before was attacked by two more blades; the rest had missed their targets.
If Zoe’s calculations were right, then she needed to hit two of the corn demons with one more hit, another one with two more hits and a fourth one who was guilty of pushing her had not yet been damaged.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The four corn demons looked at their fallen brother with sadness evident in their eyes; however, that sadness was soon replaced by anger. One of them headed towards Zoe and cried out, “Corn corn cannon!” If only there wasn’t a stream of corn flying towards her at bullet speed, then without doubt, Zoe would’ve laughed at the ridiculous name. Hey eyes bulged as she saw the stream of corn heading towards her. Zoe didn’t want to fly to evade the attack as her back was still hurting and she didn’t know whether she might, in the future, face a situation where she would have to fly therefore, flying to evade the attack was a big no and running was completely out of the question.
As the stream of corn neared her almost in a blur, she did the only thing she could think of to not get hit. “Wind barrier!” Zoe said as the wind surrounding her came forth to make a defensive barrier. The corn stream hit the barrier instead of her but Zoe had to admit, that was some force the corn had. The corn stream eventually stopped and Zoe let down the barrier, panting a bit. After this all, Zoe had to admit that she was angry; she wanted nothing more than to destroy these pesky little plants and that was what she was going to do.
“That’s it.” Zoe grumbled, “You’re done now.” As Zoe had learned, her air blades were quite effective against them, she decided to use the same attack. “Air Blades!” she bellowed. Like before, a magic circle appeared however, this time instead of 10, Zoe went for 20 blades; the higher the number, the more damage it does. The blades flew at the corn demons from every direction, five aimed towards a single demon. The blades were successfully able to knock two of them out cold, the ones who had been attacked by two blades earlier as well.
As for the other two, they charged towards Zoe and at the same time, Zoe willed the wind to move the blades in her direction. Three of the blades hit corn demon #3 that had been hit before and it knocked him down. But it seemed as though the one who pushed Zoe really hated her as he evaded the blades the same time Zoe did.
The last corn demon bent down and tried to kick her legs making her lose her balance but Zoe successfully jumped in time and landed an aerial kick at the corn demon sending him flying. One more demon left and then she would be done. But it seemed as though fate had other plans as she noticed that unfortunately for her, the corn demon got some back up.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Zoe smirked inwardly to herself, feeling proud and relieved at the same time due to the fact that she would finally be done with these corn demons and the village would be back to normal.
However, her happiness soon vanished into thin air as she heard ruffling of leaves around her. Zoe’s eyes flew over her surroundings until it stopped at something coming out from behind a nearby tree; a corn demon. And it wasn’t just one, four more sprouted out from behind tress and in a matter of a few seconds, Zoe was face to face with yet another herd of corn demons.
“Are you kidding me?” Zoe grumbled as her eyebrow twitched in annoyance, “Just when I thought I was done with them. I swear if I ever get out of here, I’m never eating corn again.” As Zoe was absorbed in her thoughts, she had failed to notice that three of those pesky little corns had surrounded her. However, she was snapped back to reality as she witnessed that all of them charged towards her, wanting to attack her from every side. These plants demons might be tough but they certainly didn’t have a lot of common sense; but then again, they were plants.
Just as they were about to land a hit on Zoe; she called out, “Wind Barrier.” The wind surrounding her came to life by encasing her in a circle of wind that was successfully able to fling the demons aside, making them crash into the trees and ground.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The other two corn demons - who were previously occupied with trying to help the demon who was left from the previous group of corn demons – ran towards Zoe keeping a considerable amount of distance between them and jumped up in the air while simultaneously, stretching forward a leg to kick Zoe in the chest. Zoe evaded the attack by jumping backwards and using her flying powers to land on a branch of a nearby tree. She raised her hand forward and used her levitation ability to pick up a 3 meter branch that lay beneath her and flung it towards the demons.
Both of the demons jumped out of the way and regrouped with the four others. Zoe was in a tight spot, she would have to do something quick. A light bulb then went off in her head; all the demons were gathered in one place and that would be beneficial to her. Zoe smiled a bit in satisfaction and took to the sky, flying right above the demons and cried out, “Aerial Blow Away!” A gust of wind shot forth in a circular motion from the light blue circle that was in front of her hands that were spread out parallel to each other.
The wind slammed into the six demons and trapped them in the wind spinning them in a round motion, and then forcefully, blowing them away in all directions. Zoe landed on the ground, beaming at herself, completely sure that she had finally got rid of those demons.
Nevertheless, she was again proven wrong. Zoe walked towards one of the demon and stood in front of it surveying the motionless corn. As she turned around, all of a sudden, the corn lunged at her dropping them both to the ground and pinned her by securing her arm behind her back.
Zoe winced in pain as she noticed the other five demons heading towards her and two of them assisting in holding her down while the rest of them started to kick her.
‘Damn it, I’m screwed.’

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The pain coursed through Zoe’s body as the demons kept on kicking her; the right side of waist hurt the most and she was absolutely sure there was going to be a mark there. If Zoe wasn’t able to escape soon then she might as well turn into corn dinner.
Three of the demons were holding her down and three were kicking her. Nonetheless, she still struggled to free herself. A few feet away from them, Zoe spotted the same log that she had used to try to attack the demons. From the looks of it, the corn demons were very absorbed in adding to Zoe’s misery and while she was suffering some pretty intense pain, a plan formulated in her mind. Zoe knew she still had a lot of magic power left so this might work but, of course there was still a chance it might not.
‘Stay optimistic, Zoe!’ she chided herself and closed her eyes, concentrating her will power and magic to lift the log of the ground. Zoe still had one hand free that was lying limp on the ground and so decided to use it to channel her magic.
The log slowly lifted and Zoe swiped her free hand towards the demons on top of her and the log came rushing forward slamming into the demons, throwing them off of her.
Zoe winced a bit and clutched the right side of her waist as she stood up. Letting her hands come in front of her, she raised them straight and bellowed, “Aerial Blow Away!” The wind dashed towards the demons; luckily, demon number #9 and #10 got hit whereas the others stepped aside to avoid getting slammed by the wind.
And with that, Zoe’s plan worked. As the demons were too focused on the attack headed towards them, they did not notice Zoe sneaking away by using her flying powers. She was sure that if she ran, they might catch up but not if she flew. She looked back and noticed that the demons were looking around in a bewildered state, most likely, searching for her; however, Zoe’s first priority was to treat her injuries. If these demons came back again, especially with back up, then she would have to be ready.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Zoe landed on the ground, hidden by a clutter of trees and sat down next to one, clutching the right side of her waist. She removed the bag that was hanging from her shoulders and placed it in front of her. Zoe opened the bag and examined her supplies; the food she was carrying had been crushed; the water was, thankfully, still intact; and the bandages had been crumpled up.
“Oh well, looks like I won’t be able to eat anything but at least, the bandages and water are okay.” Zoe was always one to be prepared and therefore, she always carried supplies with her in case of emergency.
Tossing the food aside, she took out the bandages and removed her jacket. Lifting her shirt up a bit, Zoe looked at the black mark on her waist and scrunched her eyebrow in disgust at the horrendous sight. The pain was slowly fading away but it still hurt a lot.
Zoe didn’t know a lot of medical stuff but she did know how to bandage up a wound; maybe, bandaging it up a bit would reduce the pain a bit. Therefore, she tied the bandage around her waist making sure that the wound was fully covered even though, the process was quite painful.
Taking the bottle of water, Zoe gulped down the entire bottle and sighed heavily, feeling a bit refreshed. Now, she had to figure out what to do. Defeating the corn demons would most likely be the only way to restore the village’s cultivation back. Zoe pondered on this and got up, stretching; she had another plan now. Instead of the corn demons hunting her like always, she was going to hunt them now; she was going to give them a surprise, one they would never forget.
“Corns, you’re going down!” Zoe grinned and cracked her knuckles as she headed out.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Zoe flew above the tress, scanning the area beneath her to search for signs of the corn demons. “Where are they?” she asked herself, getting frustrated at her inability to find them. She decided to land down and perhaps take a break and maybe then she could resume searching.
However, just as she was about to land, her eyes spotted something in the distance; the corn demons! All six of them were present there and they were just sitting around relaxing and enjoying in the sun. An anime style angry vein popped at the back of Zoe’s head, “Look at them relaxing. Putting me through all that and thinking they can get away. I’m going to make you corn demons regret ever messing with me.”
And that being said, Zoe flew down right towards the corn demons resting place. She released the wind from around her and charged to the ground, her right leg bent straight, aiming for a kick at one of the corns. Zoe roared and landed, unfortunately missing her target as the corns moved out of the way. Dust rose up from the impact of the kick and slowly moved away from
Zoe’s figure revealing her to the corns.
She grinned at them and said, “Missed me? Because I’m back.” The corns looked at each other, trying to recover from the surprise of having Zoe try to ambush them and looked at her; without a second’s delay, they all charged ready to battle.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Two of the corns rushed towards Zoe from the front whereas two did from the back. Zoe took off to the air as soon as all four of them got close to her and as a result, bumped into each other. Zoe tsked at them, “You all are so stupid.”
Doing a back-flip in midair, she landed on the ground a few feet away from where the four corns were and stood directly in front of one of the corn demon and swiftly, jumped back up again, placing a kick right on to the corn demon’s face; the impact of the kick pushed him back but not by much. Zoe decided to finish them off one by one; she stood in a battle stance and bellowed, “Aerial Blow Away!”
A gush of circular wind channeled from a magic circle at the front of Zoe’s hand. The wind aimed directly towards the corn demon and engulfed him in it, blowing him away backwards and slamming into a tree. Zoe turned towards the other five and said, “Alright, whose next?”
One of the demons, standing at the forefront raised his hands and said in an overly squeaky voice, “Corn corn cannon!” The brunette groaned in annoyance and raised her arms in front of her. “Wind Barrier!” As Zoe said that, wind surrounded her and covered her completely in a sphere blocking the corn headed towards her way. However, she had to admit the attack had a lot of force but it was nothing that she couldn't handle. The stupid corns embarrassed her and totally kicked her butt; now it was time for payback.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The barrier slowly disappeared as the corn attack stopped. The corn demons stared at Zoe, anger evident in their eyes. Zoe just smirked at them in return; five more left, this was going to be easy. She readied herself in a battle stance and waited for the demons to attack.
However, instead of charging at her, they all huddled together and stared whispering. The wind mage stared at the five corns in confusion and called out, “Hey, you wanna fight or what?” The corn demons, one by one, put one hand on top of the other corns hand and jumped up yelling, “Let’s go!”
Zoe stared at them blankly and said, “Now, if you’re done with your little cheerleading routine, then can we get back to business.” Little did Zoe know that they were actually going to do a little cheerleading routine.
Two of the corn demons held one demon up by the arms and threw him high into the air, doing the same for the other two as well. The three demons fell through the air, in a straight line position, one after the other and aimed themselves at Zoe, acting as some sort of rockets.
The brunette stared at them as they neared her; she put her hands out and said, “Aerial Blow Away!” The wind rushed towards the demons engulfing them in it however, the demons broke through the wind and Zoe stared in utter shock and almost cursed herself when it all made sense to her; there were three of them and that too in a straight line zipping fast through the air. This, in turn, left the attack completely useless against them and allowed them to break free.
As the corns neared her, Zoe shouted, “Wind barrier!” The barrier built around her and she hoped that it would prevent the attack. When the corns hit the barrier, the last two were blown away and were successfully defeated but the first managed to break through as it had the highest pressure of the three. It broke through the barrier and managed to land a hit on Zoe’s face with a corn. The impact of the attack sent her flying a bit backward and landing on the ground with a ‘thud’.
“Ow.” She groaned as Zoe rubbed her jaw while trying to get up. “Damn you corns!”

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The wind mage’s jaw stung as she placed her hand on her jaw. ‘Damn, that corn stung.’ She thought sourly to herself while looking at the corns with a glare that could penetrate one’s soul. She let out a sigh and examined the demons; there were three of them. Zoe still had enough magic power to take the three out, one attack of her air blades would probably be enough. After this, everything would be fine and she would go take a relaxing bath followed by a nap. The thought was so appealing that Zoe almost started walking away; shaking her head, she composed herself and regained her attention back on the three corns.
For some reason, they were a little edgy and Zoe noticed that. However, all she wanted to do right now was defeat them and finally go. Before Zoe could say her spell and finish them off, the three of the demons started running towards from different directions; one from the front, another from her side and the last from her back. They all simultaneously jumped into the air and started throwing corns at her, each one throwing about 8.
“Air Blades!” Zoe called out and released about 30 blades to counter that corns that were aimed at her way. The blades flew towards the corns and collided with each other thus losing balance and falling. Some of the corns didn’t get hit by any blades and came towards Zoe however, she jumped back and forth to avoid those few. Luckily, one of the blades managed to hit one of the demons therefore, disposing of him.
The other two landed on the ground and before they got the chance to attack her, Zoe called forth her two of her air blades and one of the demon got slashed by one blade whereas the other dodged. The last corn demon looked around and saw that it was all alone. Zoe stood above him and growled, “Next is your turn, if you want to leave then go now otherwise…” Before she could finish her sentence, the corn suddenly ran for the woods.
Zoe smiled in satisfaction and patted herself on the back, “You’re so awesome, Zoe.” At last, Zoe was done with this and she could finally go and get that refreshing bath of hers.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Humming to herself, Zoe walked along the trees heading towards the central hub of the village. She was done with the mission and could finally rest. After claiming her reward, she would head back to the guildhall and look for another job, or maybe not.
“Maybe I should stop by the cornfields to check if the plants are back to normal.” Zoe wondered to herself out loud. She decided to make her way to the field where the first corn plant demons attacked her; if her mission was complete, then the plants would be back to normal. Zoe walked for a while, while rubbing her jaw from time to time to see if it was paining or not. The pain had decreased a lot in her jaw as well as her back however, she would still need some medical attention.
Reaching the fields, Zoe’s eyes grew wide; the crops were still the same as before, in their rotten, thorny state. Sighing, Zoe wondered what could be the reason for this. Maybe defeating the plant demons wasn’t the answer, maybe a spell needed to be cast to cure them. But according to what she knew, defeating the plant demons should have taken care of the problem but alas, that wasn’t the case. Zoe decided to go the village’s library, it was bound to have some books containing information about the plant demons. That would surely help her. "Time to go to the library." she said dully to herself.
However, it seemed as though the past was repeating itself. Like before, when Zoe decided to go to the library to know the cause of the plants becoming rotten, she was stopped by the corn demons and now again, it seemed to be the case.
Hearing voices from behind her, Zoe grinded her teeth in frustration. Obviously, her enemies did not know how to attack in secrecy or maybe the ambushing thing was just getting too old now. “Okay, that’s it. You better come out now or else, I’m coming there and kicking your asses! And if you’re some more of those stupid corns, then I’m really gonna slaughter you!” The brunette spoke loudly while turning around, waiting for her foe to appear before her.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
Five corn demons emerged from the bushes and made themselves visible. They all came forth towards Zoe and sighing, she readied herself in a battle stance. The five demons ran towards her at the same time, from all sides. She grinned, “Air Blades!” 35 blades appeared around Zoe and shot out towards the corn demons. This was the highest number she had used so far but she wanted to get this over with quick. The blades flew in all directions towards their victims and slashed into them due to the demons close proximity to Zoe. This time she didn’t take any risks, she was going to wipe them out fast and get rid of the problem that plagued this village. As there were 7 blades heading towards each of the corn’s directions, it was hard to dodge them and that was what Zoe wanted. As she believed, the more the numbers, the more the damage.
Two of them demons disappeared due to getting hit by the three to four blades repeatedly however, the other three of them had good reflexes and were able to dodge most of the blades but two of them got hit by 2 blades whereas the other got one by 1. They stood across from her and Zoe summoned about 5 blades that lined up horizontally in front of her, floating in midair. As Zoe was about to shoot them, something emerged from the bushes behind her and tackled her to the ground, causing the blades to fall down and disappear.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
This was the second time the wind mage had gotten tackled from behind and it annoyed her. She glanced above herself expecting another corn to be there however, she was honestly surprised when she noticed a tomato on top of her. The tomato was laughing manically and Zoe also noticed that the weight of the tomato was surprisingly less. Without much difficulty, she sighed and tried to stand up to be able to push the tomato from her. Nonetheless, she was able to do it and the tomato lay sprawled, behind her on the ground.
Zoe’s eyes roamed over her surroundings and she groaned as she noticed the sight around her. “Are you kidding me? Now I have to deal with ten tomatoes and five more corns.” All of these vegetables were really starting to anger her. “Combining all of them together, there are eighteen of them. Wow, that’s a lot. They have strength in numbers, I need to do something about this.” The brunette muttered to herself.
She spotted the three corns that were present from the previous herd, crowded against each other. They were weaker than the rest and they had been attacked by her. Zoe took to the air and flew towards them, horizontally, staying a bit closer to the ground and maneuvering herself as such while simultaneously, made about five blades appear in each of her with 1 in between two fingers. She shot the blades towards the corns and managed to hit the first one with three blades, the second with two and the third with five which successfully defeated the demons and they disappeared. This was probably the first time she managed to get all her blades to hit but it was most likely due to her close proximity to them. She skidded to the ground in a halt and turned to face her remaining opponents. “Let’s get this over with.”

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The tomato demons started laughing and one of them cried out, “You actually think you can beat us. Please, we’re much better than those corns.” The corn demons looked at each other and glared at the tomato demons. Zoe’s eyes went from the tomato side to the corn side and she sensed some hostility in the air. She did not want to be a part of some vegetable fight but nevertheless, she had to take care of this. By sensing their magic, Zoe could say that the tomato demons were weaker than the corn demons even though they don’t think so. Therefore, Zoe decided to take of one type of vegetable first and then, move on the next.
“Wind Barrier!” A sphere of wind surrounded the corns, preventing them from access to the world beyond the barrier. As soon as they tried to get close, they were pushed back. Zoe knew she wouldn’t be able to old the spell for a long time and therefore, had to finish this fast. “Hahaha, those corn demons are so pathetic! We’re gonna pound you to the ground, little girl.”
Little girl? An anime style tick mark appeared on Zoe’s head and she glared icily at them. “Who you calling little girl?” Zoe flew to the sky and stood directly above the tomatoes scattered below. Raising her hands, Zoe cried out, “Wind Bringer!” A tornado appeared which engulfed the tomatoes inside it. Four of them held on to the branches of the tree as they started cursing. The other eight spun inside the tornado and Zoe watched as her wind’s sharpness landed hits on them. Her tornado was weaker than usual as she was trying to hold the barrier up as well. In turn, the tornado’s speed and sharpness was significantly low. However, it seemed as though these corns were very weak as one by one, they started disappearing by continually getting hit by Zoe’s wind make weapons inside the tornado. In the tornado now remained about three more demons. This would be over soon.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
The other three tomatoes trapped inside the tornado appeared to be very weak in state. It seemed as though these tomatoes were all talk and no show. Zoe decided to finish with the three of them, then she would direct her attention to the four other tomatoes and finally finish off the corn demons. The sharpness of the wind that was as good as a blade, struck the tomatoes repeatedly. In time, the three inside also disappeared.
“Six down, four to go!” Zoe smirked to herself, “I’m on a roll!” Whilst the tornado was present in front of her, Zoe spotted the four tomato demons hanging on the trees. She used her levitation ability to raise one of them and tossed him into the tornado; she then did the same for the other tomato demons as well. However, when she was on the last demon, who was facing her, the demon suddenly shrieked, "Tomato Juice Cannon!” A gush of tomato ketchup rushed towards Zoe and she barely moved to the side to keep from getting hit. But the ketchup was able to hit a bit of her right arm making it sting profusely. At that momentum, Zoe’s concentration was lost and the demon started falling to the ground. However, she recovered just in time to keep herself from falling as well as her spells from being deactivated.
As the tomato demon fell, the wind mage restored her focus and tried to levitate the last demon before tossing him into the tornado. Putting an end to the tomato demons, she willed the wind inside the tornado to move with more ferocity striking the four demons hard from all corners thus resulting in them disappearing after losing their magic power.

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
As the brunette was bathing in her small little victory, she failed to notice that her wind barrier had disappeared allowing the corn demons to move freely. The demons all dispersed in different directions and climbed on top of tress so that they would be able to aim themselves at the wind mage to knock her out of the sky. The corns all stood on different tress and jumped into the air, aiming for a punch at Zoe. By the time she noticed the corns, it was too late. She was able to deflect three of the punches by ducking which was followed by an aerial black flip and side-stepping however, the other two managed to strike her. Zoe tumbled towards the ground and called on to the wind to decrease the speed at which she was falling and therefore, landed with less impact then she should’ve however her rear on which she had fallen hurt a lot.
Groaning, she got up, only to have the corn demons directly in front of her. “I’m so done with you all.” She growled, whilst getting back up on her knees. It was only then that Zoe had noticed that the sun was almost set, she hadn’t realized how much time had passed. Zoe had to finish this fast. There was only one thing left to do, she would end these five demons using her wind bringer again. A lot of her magic power would be taken but she had to do this if she wanted to win and return back to the village with good news.
Flying up towards the air, Zoe raised her hands into the air as she had previously done. The corns looked on in confusion for a few seconds before realizing what was going on. They all attempted to scatter however, by that time, it was too late; Zoe had already summoned the tornado. The five of them got caught up in it and started spinning around in circles, the air made weapons hitting them with much more power than they had before. Zoe’s vision blurred causing the tornado to weaken a bit but she recomposed herself. “This is gonna end now!”

Re: A Wizard's Grace {Zoe Schiffer}
“Die!” Zoe bellowed as the corns spun around, shrieking. It was nightfall now and the sky remained a gray haze as a result of the tornado though it was only around a small area in the sky. Her tornado was comparatively smaller than other wind mages but she knew that it would become better as she grew stronger. Wanting to end this fast, Zoe exerted a bit more power into the attack to finish them off. The blades hit the demons from each and every side; they weren’t as strong as her air blades so it would take more time to finish them off. But the benefit was that they were trapped with nowhere to run and therefore, Zoe could take her own time torturing them. However, that was what she didn’t have. Otherwise, they would have been in a worse position that they were in now.
Zoe landed on the ground, still holding the tornado in place. ‘Just a little while longer.’ The corns tried to grasp each other’s hand to escape but Zoe kept separating them every time they did so. Even when they tried to use their attack, Zoe made the wind suffocate them so that they couldn’t speak. In this way, she and the wind were one.
One by one, the demons started disappearing after being completely exhausted by the tornado. As soon as the last one had vanished, Zoe sat on the ground and took a deep breath. This was finally over! Now that her mind was at ease, the searing pain from her previous injuries hit her with full force. Zoe sighed and tried to stand on her own two feet. She made her way towards the fields and a smile graced her features as she saw the plants back to normal, glowing as brightly as though they were the happiest things on earth. “I’m glad this is over. Thankfully, the tornado didn’t inflict much damage to the surrounding area.” She muttered to herself as she looked around and finally decided to make her way towards the village.
