Personality: Often quiet yet always inquesitive, Umbra is like a typical male in his young years. He yearns to explore and seek out things, while also hiding away the fact he can be ruthless and frightening. He hides his second nature with a friendly smile that he gives to everyone while actually watching their movements and actions to determine their character as best as he can. While natural to him and not just apart of constantly hiding himself, Umbra enjoys a good laugh now and again. He often will tell a joke or two just to get some sort of smile or reaction from many. Raised by a nobleman, Umbra also has some skills in speaking. He is capable of trying to get his way out of situations with his words even if he has caused his own troubles. He also does his best to appease someone from being angry with him. When the day is passed and he finds himself alone, Umbra thinks of nothing or no one. He finds himself gazing up towards the stars, letting his mind melt away to either his past training with his master or the few good memories he still holds with his mother and father.
While in combat, he becomes a completely different person. Although he keeps up his wisecracking antics while in the middle of a fight, he uses it to his advantage. He also stays in a constant movement, circling around his opponent as he mocks them. His typical guard is full of mystery. His posture is almost goading for someone to strike as he leaves his arms down and his legs spread wide. It's only a feint; as soon as his opponent tries to strike at him, he tries to attack with quick percision. He would rather keep the fight very short instead of prolonging it out; he would find himself bored. Despite hiding his truest intention away from the world and a select few guild members, he is always known to help out no matter what the task would be. While he may try to crack some jokes to appease the uneasiness or to calm some down, he tries his outmost best to help out the guild. Whenever someone would ask for help he is usually the first to make a form of assistance, especially if someone is as new as he once was. While typically a lone wolf when it comes to doing missions or even dungeons, he does understand that it isn't always possible. Whenever he is part of a group, he tries his best not to end up in the leader position. He would much rather quickly execute whatever the leader asks for him to do and continue upon their way rather than waste time taking out opponents. The same goes for him whenever the leader position falls to him. He ensures that his orders and requests are done without a single waste of time. He tends to step back from the battlefield to try to come up with a change in tactics if possible. If he doesn't or couldn't have the time to do so, he quickly executes whatever plans come from the top of his head.

Appearance: Umbra often wears a dark blue hooded coat that hides away his eyes with the shadow it casts, a white waistcoat, and black breeches with leather gaiters that stop just under his knees. He keeps his hands covered in leather gloves to protect them while he often climbs or runs across the top of buildings. A loose belt hangs from his hips, acting as a sheath for his weapons. He also carries two smaller pouches which he uses for his money and whatever else he may have to carry with him.

Likes:
- Having spent most of his time training at a winery, Umbra had grown fond of wine. The different taste that he would always create not only amused him, but amused others as well whenever they would come to taste his concoctions. Some people beg him to become a wine maker himself, but he insists that will come only when time calls for him.
- While not just enjoying the splendors of wine, Umbra finds himself enjoying the sounds of music. Be it a simple hum or the use of instruments, he will find himself putting most of his attention towards the sound. He often will close his eyes and remove himself from his surroundings; taking in only the music to fully enjoy it.
- Coming along with his winery background, Umbra enjoys the splendors of all sorts of fruits. They all hold their own special taste and scent; touch and sight. He is always munching on some fruit or something with a fuit topping.
Dislikes:
- While he may be arrogant at times, Umbra finds those who are too arrogant put a sour taste into his mouth. He would like to quickly press their head into whatever flat surface he could, but instead tries to hold himself as the higher person and walk away.
- Umbra detests those who are forceful. If he ever catches someone trying to coerce someone into any action or forcing themselves onto another, he is quick to act; punching first and talking later.
- While being a member of a guild, Umbra hates being given orders. Not only does he hate being given orders, he hates giving them out. He believes that one should do only as they please, but will follow any orders given to him after much complaining.
Motivations:
- Being left with the little training he received, Umbra's determination to continue on the legacy his Master had left him is what drives him every day. He hopes to make connections with those in similar skills as his and learning what they could teach him.
- Along with practicing the books he was left with, Umbra wonders what the future may also hold for him. Not only does he wish to gain skills to continue on the legacy of his Master, he also wishes to obtain someone that he can leave his skills with an apprentice.
- A deeper drive in Umbra is to find whomever it was that killed his mother and father when he was younger. He doesn't know much except for a single name and he knows that won't get him far. While being with the Guild, he hopes that he just may hear the name or something even better once again.
Fears:
- The thought of not finding a succesor does hold fear in Umbra's soul, but is not what he truly fears. What he truly does fear is not bettering himself as he was sure that is what his Master and parents would love for him to do. He wants to strive to be better for not only them, but for himself.
- A small grip of the dark still haunts the male from when he was younger. Being around a few lanterns and torches helps him, but in complete darkness he begins to get nervous and hyperventilate as the memories from his past still haunt him. He also tends to place his hand on a nearby wall or onto a person's shoulder if they around him to help him cope with the dark.
- Umbra also fears the chance of not finding the person whom he is searching for. The reason he looks for them is to have a form of closure for himself, but if he can't find them he fears that he may never get what he's looking for.
