The Blight Phoenix beckons. (Lilith's Intro Thread)

The Spooky Forest, a place home to several things but what had brought Lilith into it wasn't the lure of ghosts or anything like that. No she had been looking for a hall which held the guild of Savage Skull. To be entirely honest she didn't find the forest that spooky, fifteen years ago she might have, but now? Nah. At least not so far and she was pretty sure she was getting close to the guildhall now.

The Siren had heard rumors about a group of people living in the so called Spooky Forest from a few villagers in a hunting village not too far outside of the forest itself. Bad people apparently, Lilith's type of people. Having spoken to the townsfolk she had been pointed towards the direction of where the guild was supposed to be located and set off walking. She grabbed her sack of clothes and walked off, did she expect to find the guild directly? Maybe, maybe not. Did she expect them to not attack her and try to kill her on sight? Hopefully.

So far Lilith hadn't encountered anything that made the forest spooky, maybe because it was still bright outside, but she doubted that the forest itself would scare her. Besides, she had seen plenty of things during her travels, having walked from Dawn City to Clover Town and then here she had seen her fair share of 'spooky' things as well as experienced them.

After another hour of walking she finally caught a glimpse of the guildhall, hopefully they wouldn't attack her and she wouldn't have to run, she was tired of walking and wanted to sit down for a while. Maybe grab a drink and perhaps a nap as well, yup she was going to take a nap later. As Lilith walked up to the door and put her hand on the handle. She stood there for a moment before pushing down the handle and pushed up the door, stepping inside into the large guildhall.

"Hmh, doesn't seem like there's anyone in here." She spoke to herself and put her hand on her hip and looked around the hall. "Maybe this place is abandoned after all... what a waste of time."

The guildhall was protected by the many marshes that the Spooky Forests has to offer. It was a near impossible place to get to if you didn't mean to get there. Savage Skull lays behind the endless woodlands of the Spooky Forest. A treacherous forest that could take days to cross. What begins with relatively mild climate quickly turns into confusing maze as you venture deeper into these woods. Be this was the journey of the unknowning. Only the guildmembers knew the easy passage.

So Kaseki lurked in the shadows of the hall, as he often did in his time in the guild. He was pleading insanity as he argued in the depth of his own mind. He was by far one of the most pure heart of the guild, and this, made him an outcast. But that very light he sought to reach is what casted him into the darkness in the first place. Kaseki was in an never ending battle with his future, Kodai. They were years apart, yet they resided in the same body. Their bickering came to an end as they came to partial agreements.

They shared control today, and they watched the new visitor. His eyes emerged from the darkness, emitting two very different auras and lights. The right was a Violet, as illumining at the stars in the night sky. The opposing eye, the left, was a vibrant crimson, as bright as the flames of hell. And this is what became of them as they emerged from the darkness. They were two very different souls, all wrapped up into one being.

"Are you visting?" Kaseki asked. He was lighthearted and full of wonderment. "...We'd hate to make another mess on this floor. We're actually trying to clean this place." Kodai spat out his words in a low and demonic tone. It was not to strike fear into anyone, but was years of loneliness built onto each other. Years of plotted revenge on his past, only to face Kaseki and lose. "Or perhaps you're going to join us?" Kaseki asked happily. He always did like to make new friends. "I hope you aren't a weak one." Kodai said harshly.

Lilith looked around the hall, so far no one had approached her, perhaps the place was abandoned, she thought to herself again and was just about to turn around and leave when the sudden voice from a stranger echoed in the hall. The words were easy on her ears almost friendly, followed by words dripping in anger and hatred. Lilith turned towards the voice and looked at the two colors, what caught her attention was the obvious differences, one being close to the midnight sky and the other bright as a fire.

She didn't know which voice or color she prefered out of the two, but she guessed that the purple or as others called it, 'Violet' was the smoother voice while the reddish color was the one dripping in hatred. "Join you? Depends, what are the benefits and what's the pay?" She asked and leaned on her hip, putting her hand on it as well as cocking her head to the side. The person, if it was a person, was rather interesting, Lilith had both heard and read about twin personalities and this seemed like one of those cases.

"And, me? Weak? Hmh, you must be one of those who don't know what I am, that's good." She said and tilted her head to the other side as she observed the strange man. How he managed to give himself the two different auras though was interesting, probably magic but still, interesting.

"We have much to offer, as you pledge your life." Kaseki said. "Not much of a choice. But I'd think on what you said. We know what you are, the question is, do you know what we are?" Kodai scorned his voice. The two thought nothing and instead shared the tongue. Everything was divided, today could be a different day. "You powers mean nothing upon the years of destruction, experience, power, and damage that this guild has- The Pillars are a good way to start. I'll tell you what you wish to know as you tell me what I need to know." Kaseki said lightly. His insanity reached a point that surpassed Kodai's power. Kaseki could find things out more than anyone in the guild. This power even rivaled the Guildmaster, Harrigan's power. "Now, tell me Mr.Siren, What is your first name?"

Kaseki felt the burning echo of Kodai's voice trapped within the depths of Kaseki's mind. Nothing could control him. Nothing could stop him. And all Kaseki had to do was say one word to kill this woman. He waited to use it. How he loved that word. All it would take was one simply lie, and Kaseki would do it.

But could he?

Who knows.

Yup, definitely someone who had the whole twin personalities thing, she thought to herself and looked at him as the two voices spoke again. She tilted her head to the other side again as he asked if she knew what he was. Weird is what he was, or at least one of the things that's for sure. If he was anything else she didn't know, she couldn't really guess, after all, all she could see of him was the auras his outlining because of it.

As he began to speak something about pillars she raised a brow and looked around the halls, surely this person was insane, maybe that's why this place looked like it did on the outside, because he was the only person there and was too insane to do anything about the exterior and from what she could judge, the interior as well.

Then something came from his lips that caught her by surprise, she tried to choke the laughter but a chuckle escaped her lips and she shook her head. "Wow... haha... You sir must be blind. First, I'm no Mister and second, it's Lilith." She chuckled and shook her head, at least she had gotten a laugh out of her trip here, then she remembered he said something about a guild, or the other personality said something about a guild. "So... There IS a guild here? 'cuz it was rather dull walking through the forest of yours and I'd hate to have wasted my time coming here." She said and looked back at him.

Kaseki smiled from under his bone mask. "Ah, so you have listened. Good. Now I know you can hear me, Lilith." Kaseki was never ever quite there or right in the mind. But his intentions always had reason. "This is Savage Skull, The Darkest Guild in Fiore. The reason for the emptiness is to house our pets. The room is so we can torturee our prisoners. The forest and the swamp are our first lines of defense, weeding out the weak Rune Knights that come here. Unlike like other guilds,' we're much, much more organized." Kaseki looked deep into the girl's eyes as he spoke. "I sense no power in you, at least not yet. It appears that some magical being lies dormant in you." he said. Then he asked another question;

"What is your favorite drink?"

Lilith looked at him as he spoke again to her, he was certainly very odd and she hoped that there more people in this 'Savage Skull' guild. Though she did kind of doubt the part where he said it was the darkest guild in Fiore, but then again, she wasn't the one to decide that and since this was, to her knowledge, the first guild she had met, she had nothing to compare them to. As he explained a bit about the forest and he mentioned it would weed out weak Rune Knights she thought a bit, if she had walked through the forest and found it rather dull, it must be some real weak Rune Knights to get afraid of it.

As the thing said that he sensed no power in her she rolled her eyes and shook her head, she was just exhausted for walking for almost two days. When he asked her about her favorite drink she shrugged slightly. "Favorite really depends on the mood, place and setting." She said and shrugged. "Though I do think I have a cider bottle or two in my bag, so I'd say that." Lilith said and tilted her head. "What's it to you?"

"I think he's offering you a drink, princess"
A man stated as he walked into the guild from behind Lilith, in time to hear Kaseki ask the newcomer her favorite drink. The man stood tall with ashen gray hair that spiked up like a mane behind him, cat like ears taking shape in his hair. Even though it was dark, the man wore sunglasses that were barely able to hide the red of his eyes. To those who knew of Celestial Spirits, they would recognise this dark infused leader of the Zodiac. Leo.

From behind him, a beautiful red head walked in, blood stains on her neck leading down into her shirt which hung tightly against her chest. the rest of her outfit, which no doubt was once something resembling a school girls, was in shambles on the girls body. However the girl herself didn't seem to hurt (other than the bloody neck. Even her face wasn't left without a mark, claw like scars leading up her cheek and across her eye. The red headed woman stopped at the door at the sigh of the new face. She didn't recognize her at all, and quickly  alarms went off within the womans head.

"Kaseki. Do you know her?"
She asked simply, her own green eyes never leaving Lilith once, watching for any movement the girl might make.

"Lawnhead...you should of told me we had a new person to play with." a child-like voice said followed by a yawn. A door had been pushed open slightly and through it could be seen a grey-skinned girl in a ragged red dress holding a teddy bear. She seemed...out of place for a guild that claimed to be the darkest in the world. Little did this newcomer know that this young girl was perhaps one of the most evil mages she would ever meet. Perhaps not the most powerful...not yet anyway, but definitely one of the most evil. She stepped into the room revealing that she was barefoot and was probably no older than eight. "Did you come to play wif me?" she asked tilting her head. She was very good at the whole child 'act'.

Kaseki bowed to Sinali, "As always, I like to interview your toys beforehand." Kaseki said with a smile. He turned to the other girl and her... guest. "This is Lilith the Siren. She has passed my test. May you enjoy your stay~"

Kaseki took steps back into the darkness, closing his eyes and bowing his head. The lights from which we looked at them grew dim, and soon, he was gone. Kaseki had no time to get involved in another gathering. He had things to attend to.

Harrigan had given him a task to carry out.

The sudden voice behind her caught Lilith's attention, turning around half-way she looked at him and scanned him with her eyes for a moment. He looked rather good but something was odd about him, the cat ears and glowing red eyes were a bit of an off putter, but she didn't mind getting called princess. From behind him another person walked in, a girl this time, red hair, tattered clothes, blood and scars. If you excluded the blood and ruined clothing along with the scars of course, she didn't look too bad either, perhaps Lilith had done the right thing to go here.

Though listening to the tone of her voice she didn't seem all too excited to see her, maybe even a bit defensive against her. Though that was almost taken for granted as this was apparently a dangerous guild, who knew, maybe Lilith was there to kill someone, but then again, that wasn't the case.

Another voice caught her attention, this time it sounded like a child. Lilith blinked and turned her head towards the girl and looked at her, yup, that was a child, what was a child doing here? Though judging from her, once more, tattered clothes and now rather dark skin she seemed to kind of fit in. Though she did still seem out of place, and she did seem rather creepy, so far she was by far creepier than the forest had been.

"First, I'm not a toy, I'm no ones toy, second, my name's Lilith." She said and looked at the small girl then towards where the glowing person had been before. "So... is there someone I should talk to about signing up?" She asked and looked at the redhead and the man who had called her princess.

"Until you start pulling any weight around here, you'll be a toy to those who want to use you. That's just the way it is."
Nakiya stated as she walked passed Leo and headed towards the bar. After that mission, she needed something to drink, something strong to drink too. She stepped behind the bar and began rummaging through the different drinks and selection they had there. Finally she pulled out the rum and grabbed herself a large glass.

Meanwhile, Leo stepped up to Lillith and gave her a proper bow. When he stood up, he smiled down at her and went to take the girls hand to bring it to his mouth and kiss it gently.

"If you are truly intent on joining this guild, then we have gained a true gem, a beautiful and rare flower among the darkness. You simply need to appeal to master Harrigan to join the guild. and attain your guild stamp."
He said gently, betraying the darkness that he portrayed. He simply couldn't act as Nakiya wanted him too around such beautiful women.

"The world is my toybox...and every toy will one day be broken." Sinali said with a playful grin her closed eye snapping open to reveal her guild crest, tatooed on the very eye itself. "Mr.H is probably in his office planning a new game for us to play...I wonder which pillar you'll be in." With that her head roated a full 180 degress, but her body did not straight away. It did so about two seconds after and with that she began to walk away before suddenly her head rotated again. "Oh and i'd stay away from beneath the guild if I were you...the doggies are probably hungry and if you don't have the guild stamp...they won't be able to help themselves." With that her head rotated again and she began to walk away.

She then stopped suddenly and turned around fully. "Oh and if you enter my room without permission then consider it volunteering for my...games." With that her head rotated once more and she walked out backwards.

Rekka sighed it had been quite boring for her lately, she felt the urge deep inside of her she wanted to kill again. With her magic demanding the magic powers of those she killed it made her feel even more on edge than normal about wanting to taste the sweet and lovely flesh of her victims. As she made her way into the hall she noticed a few members she knew well Sinali was there and so was Kaseki she did not really like him much but he was a good servant. There was two woman she did not know however one seemed to be a new possible recruit and the other was a woman she did not recognize. She moved closer to the others as she walked past Sinali and smiled she wondered what sort of fun she could have if she entered Sanali's room.

"I have not seen two of you around here before I am assuming at least one of you is a new potential member. Apologies the name is Rekka Lawless and it is a pleasure to meet you, as others have said until you prove your worth you are nothing but mere drapery on the windows. I have never met you before..."

She turned and faced Nakiya as she moved closer and sniffed the air around her breathing it in as she smiled and pulled away. She was a interesting one, she had potential but she had seen a lot of that it was taking advantage of the gifts you had.

"Oh... and Sinali one day we should have a little chat, I have always wanted to get to know you more."

Lilith looked at the redhead as she seemed rather hostile towards her, or at least cold. Though she was unsure what she meant with use as a toy, but shortly after her attention was stolen again by the person with cat ears, she liked him so far. As he bowed she tilted her head and raised a brow, but when he took her hand and kissed it she blinked and her face took a slightly reddish tone for the moment as he complemented her looks. "E-ehm... th-thanks..." she stuttered and looked towards the little girl as she spoke.

When she opened her eye and showed the guild mark on her eye Lilith flinched, that was really creepy and so far, she was the creepiest thing around here. Lilith's opinion only got more certain as the girl turned her head around and her body afterwards, the entire kid was creepy. Yup, she was going to stay away from her, she thought to herself as the kid walked away.

So, so far she had heard the name Harrigan and Mr. H, so she assumed it was the same person, and she assumed he was the guild leader, then again, the little kid-thingy had mentioned pillars again. Again someone entered the room, this time another female, this one with Fox ears and... "Is that a tail?... It's a tail..." She thought and looked at Rekka as she walked in.

So, she now knew three names, no wait, make that four, she had heard Kaseki as well. Kaseki would be the glowing person, Rekka the fox girl and someone named Sinali along with the guild leader named Harrigan. "Hello, I'm Lilith, so, is the Guild leader around? Or do I have to wait for him as well?" She asked and looked at the only man in the room who also happened to have animal ears.

This place was... odd.

She didn't know if she would ever get used to seeing Sinali... she had seen her a few previous times, but never had any real interaction with the girl. Not that she didn't want to talk to the thing but she had nothing she wanted, and therefore was of no use to her.

She took a large gulp of her drink before reaching over for a beer which she carried in her free hand. Stepping around the bar, she stopped when Rekka came over to her, eyeing the other mage dangerously as the girl literally sniffed her. Well, if she stank of blood sweat and... god knows what else she couldn't say her appearance didn't warrant a warning.

"I've been a member of this guild for some time, and I can't say I've come across you either. I don't tend to make the acquaintance of people in whom I gain nothing from."
She stated plainly, stepping around Rekka as she spoke to Sinali. When she got closer to LEo, she tossed him the bottle of beer.

The Zodiac spirit had to step around Lilith and catch the bottle to avoid the beautiful girl getting hit, wanting to cast his master a glare but instead falling short as he had fallen into a stare. He couldn't say he hated Nakiya in the slightest, in fact he loved her to bits, everything from her dark attitude to that sensational body.

Nakiya however caught the stare and rolled her eyes as she looked back to the newcomer once more.

"I have no idea where the master is right now. I suppose you'll just have to wait around until he shows up. In the mean time, why don't you sit down and have a drink with me? It's been a while since I've had anyone to simply sit and talk with. I would love to pick your brain, Ms Lilith."

'You'd be wise not to get ensnared into their manipulative webs' it was a condescending tone, a voice so filled with arrogance that it almost felt that it overflowed the man's voice. Just like water that dripped downside from an overfilled bucket. Following the voice, the variety of oddities that called themselves mages would see a middle-aged man stepping down from the last stile of large staircase that disappeared into an upper floor. However that would be just an assumption, because of the shroud of darkness that seemed to have a powerful hold over the entire guild, you could never see much.

The man was nobody else then the guild master himself, a person that just as his voice had an appearance that was a mixture of smugness and wealth. Clothed in a tailored velvet red suit, with his black hair combed backwards. He gave the exact impression of a typical industrial fatcat.

'That is if you don't want to end up as someones personal chew toy off course. Or if that is what you want, then by all means take up a drink with Nakiya, play hide or seek with the kid or get on all fours and be submissive to what ever Miss Lawless has in mind for you. However all of these routes will certainly end up in your death, one way or another.

Lilith looked around the room as she saw Nakiya move towards her with a bottle of beer in one hand and then toss it towards her, before she could do anything to the bottle it was grabbed by the man who had been talking to her earlier. She heard the woman speak to her again and suggested that she'd sit down and have a drink with her. Lilith was about to accept the invitation when another voice, male, reached her ears.

Turning around she looked towards the stairs and the source of the voice came into view, someone that suggested that she would be wise not to get too involved with the members she had met so far. This made her raise a brow and blink a few times as she looked at him, taking in his appearance. He was well dressed and to Lilith, looked rather good. His attitude fit his looks so far from what she could tell and as he rambled briefly about the various members in the guild she had met before.

So, apparently the girl whom had invited her to drink with her was named Nakiya, might be good to remember, Lilith thought and put her hand on her hip as she looked at the man she assumed was Harrigan.

"Everything leads to death, dear, it's just how we get there that matters." She said and moved towards him. "So, I'll become a chew toy by Nakiya, I have to play Hide and Seek with the creepy kid, Miss Lawless will make me walk on all four, what will you make me do then, Mister...?" She said and tilted her head once she got closer to him.

"Manipulative webs? Master Harrigan I don’t see how a few drinks can spin a web of any sorts."
She stated with a large grin as she motioned for Leo. The lion spirit didn’t need any more indication than that before heading over to the bar his mistress had just come from and beginning to pour each of the women a drink (disregarding the fact Nakiya already had one in hand).

"You are always welcome to join us as well. I can’t imagine how being a guild leader is any easy job, unwinding might do you some good."
She attempted to coax him into having a seat and a drink with them. Frankly, she didn’t expect him to sit down at all. This was only the second time she had seen the guild master of Savage Skull after-all, and he seemed to have much bigger plans in mind, while her own plans were currently at a stand still.

She brought her drink up to her lips as she drank another large gulp from her glass before putting the now empty glass on the table, her eyes darting to the new girl, Lilith. What better way to judge someone than to get them drunk and loosen their tongues?

Za'cha stretched his arms behind his head as he went out into the main hall to see what all the commotion was about. Upon seeing the azure tattooed girl, he idly scratched his own red mark before looking at the rest of the grouping. He had managed to catch the last few sentences from everyone. "Having fun without me are we Princess?" he called over to Nakiya as he looked over at the new girl, the sight of the girl with animal features as well being a new one on him. He recalled the little one, Sinali from somewhere but couldn't put his finger on it.

"As for what Master Harrigan here? He'd probably shove you in the library or something to do his reasearch... and then kill you once you found what he was looking for to ensure you didn't spoil any surprises." shrugged the robed human as he leaned against one of the pillars in the hall. "So, what's your name then? Seems a tad unfair and rude to know all of their names and not your own." said Za'cha, waiting for the girl to reply first before supplying his own name. "Za'cha. If there's a hell on Earthland, you're standing in it."

'Crawford, Harrigan Crawford' replied Harrigan to the so called 'mister' at the end of the girls sentence 'And I won't make you do anything at all girl, however if that is your desire. To have the freedom of choice, be my guest and leave this place. Go and stand wherever you please, and wallow yourself in the mundane and the daily slumber of life itself. Or do the exact opposite, follow my every command, let me make you into something new. Something stronger, letting me make you do whatever pleases me. You can rise above the mediocrity of known civilization and become something more then me. Power! Wealth! Rule! Everything you desire can be made true, if you let me make you do anything I want!'

While Harrigan spoke he wandered through the hall towards the young girl, and while he did so he passed some of it's members with whom he shared a small interaction. Sinali for instance, she appeared to be just some young child. And so Harrigan treated her as such when he walked passed her, gently petting the top of her head. Just as some parents would do to their own children. But instead as a sign of affection it was more a power play of a wild pack. A sign of domination over one another.
He continued this pattern of behavior until he stood right in front of Lillith, once there he'd let the side of his hand stroke against her cheek. Slowly caressing her skin while the hand moved all the way to her chin, once perfectly aligned with her face. He softly forced her to look straight into Harrigan's face, by pushing her face up a bit.

'So what say you child? Would join my horde, raise a glass with them, share in their bloodlust? Would you let me rule you?'

Lilith kept her attention focused on the man who had caught her, so far, deepest attention. She heard the voice of the girl who had invited her for a drink speak towards the guild master, inviting him as well to a drink. The attitude was something that peaked her interest, he knew he was stronger, undoubtedly than anyone else in here for the moment and he wasn't afraid to show it. She heard yet another voice enter the room, this time of someone she didn't recognize but she didn't look away from him.

Though she did listen to what the third male voice had to say to her, though she did lend him some attention. What he said was a bit interesting though, although what he said about the Guild Master sticking her in a library to look for something she doubted, she didn't like reading a whole lot, was too boring for her to spend longer periods of time on.

She tilted her head as she saw the Guild Master move towards her, Crawford Harrigan, was his name apparently. She blinked only when necessary and as he got closer she raised a brow, the promise of power along with wealth was very tempting, and she had already considered joining them as she had taken the time to walk through the not so spooky, Spooky Forest. As he got closer to her Lilith looked him in the eyes as she felt his hand touch her cheek.

The touch was similar to his voice, gentle and yet authoritative as she felt him slowly move her face back from it's slightly tilted position and up towards him. The offer was tempting to accept and she had gone through the trouble of getting here, so if she'd decline it all would have been a waste, then again, the promise of Wealth, Power and drinks was alluring as well."It's awful tempting." She said and moved slightly closer towards him. "Why not? It sounds like fun."

Leo came over to his summoners table and placed down the mugs of ale, sitting down next to her though keeping his eyes closely on the others in the room. He didn't expect anything to happen, but with dark mages, he had to be on his guard to ensure Nakiya's safety.

The red head seemd to pay it no mind though as she grabbed the ale and took a sip, her eyes darting to Za'cha as he entered the room.

"Za'cha... I need to talk to you."
she stated simply, putting her glass down before looking over at Harrigan and Lillith. She raised an eyebrow at th interaction, finally leaning her head in he free hand as she watched them. Sure the promise of the power of the dark side was alluring... but Harigan was making it look as if he would bed the girl then and there, and judging by the look on Leo's face, he was thinking the same thing.

The Ex-Quip mage raised an eyebrow before looking over at Pride. "Does she mean me me, or me as in you?" he asked the Dark Spirit. Pride simply shrugged. "Perhaps she doesn't care for your eyes to wander." he suggested earning him a swipe from Za'cha. "Cute." said the human sardonically before he went over to sit beside Nakiya. "Alright Princess, what I do this time? Hedging my bets I've done something. Usually is the case." he said with a shrug.

'Excellent!' said Harrigan triumphantly while theatrically snapping the fingers of his right hand. The moment he did that, an ominous purple glow would even shine through the girl's clothing. Just right where her right shoulder blade was located. Unable to see it herself she could probably assume what it was. As for the other mages around her, they could see what symbol the light formed. It was the guild's crest. The Savage Skull emblem, a curse, a wanted sign, a promise of power and a chain. It had many definitions, however above all it stood for the imminent scourge that Savage Skull was going to unleash on Fiore.

'Well then I assume you probably have a lot of questions' continued Harrigan while he broke off his gaze upon her, only to redirect it towards the mages in the guildhall. He needed someone to show her the ropes of this place, most of them where busy. Nakiya and Za'cha had their own things, and Sinali... well sinali was still just standing there with a childish grin on her face. She might be not the most suited for such a task, especially since she often tricked people in playing a game of tag that mostly end up in the catacombs. While quickly scanning through the room, Harrigan sensed someone else in the room, whom until now had sticked to the shadows.
'Mister Vay quit skulking around in the shadows like some common thief and come out here will you, I need you to take her under your wing. To show her the guild, and even the catacombs when she's ready.'
