Era. It had been awhile since she had last been here, no wait, had she even been to this massive place before. The city that sheathed around the grand Magical Council that stood tall in the centre, hoisted up by a barren piece mountain. No, there was no way. This place was not at all mundane to her. Ever since Katherine had implanted the lacrima into her chest, she had been much more aware of things, even recognizing scents of places and of people. And so far, Era was one place she didn't recall.

A hand loomed up to her fore-head, blocking out the sunlight from her eyes as she peered up the lengthy mountain. Stairs led straight up to the place, Viola greatly unmoved into scaling each and every step. "Ya know, they should've made these stairs move on their own..." she would grumble, a frown puckering onto her face as her eyes closed and her hand discharged back to her side. Viola had traveled here with Priscilla and Sango, two people that resembled both wisdom and knowledge, something that Viola lacked incredibly.

Melody was resolved onto her shoulder, as expected. The fox had yet to realize her ability until further off on their quest to find her guild-master. Master Zeno... Don't worry, we're coming to get you soon! Viola thought to herself, a determined expression developing onto her face. Before Sango and Priscilla could react, the crimson-haired girl launched off of the ground, jumping from step to step flawlessly. She passed at least 15 steps at a time, clothing and hair fluttering the breeze as her destination came closer and closer and closer, until eventually, she had made it to the top. Focusing a few lengths away from her, she could detect the scents of many people inside the massive building, no wait, a castle? She wasn't sure what to call this place. "Let's get this warren dagger thing and save Master Zeno!" with a bit of excitement, she once again began to dash off on her own and precisely into the building only assuming that Sango and Priscilla had heard her of course, either way, she was guessing they would just follow her.

This place was complicated and way to suspicious. She could hear voices from certain places, chatting about the most silly things, or just chatting about how their day and life has been. Yet, so far, she hadn't knocked into a single Ruin Knight. The girl slid to a stop, combat boots squeaking against the plastic and glossy floor. Just to her left, stood a door that sparked an interest. She sensed the presence of at least one person in the room, her feet shifting to jog over to the door and slam it open. "Where is it!?" she called out. The room was full of many things, most wrapped up in cases or plastic with their identities written onto them, "Oh ho! Pris-sama, San-chan! I found the room with all the things in it!" a goofy grin curled onto her face, clearly forgetting the fact that she had scented somebody no more than two seconds ago in this room.

Warren's Dagger. Sango's foot hit the first step trailing behind Viola. She knew that in the group she was assigned to, Viola Purefoy had the command. But she could tell from the girl's nature that she still had a lot to do to grow up. And the mission was rather difficult. This was the Magic Council. Whilst the regular Rune Knight was easy to evade, there were heaps of powerful soldiers that carried ranks. Sango knew as much. The Magic Council was the one thing this country was founded on. It was its stability. As such, she couldn't entirely understand why Kyll had sent only three people into one of the most dangerous missions with a still young, somewhat naive girl as the leader.

During the travel to Era, Sango had traced her two companions. Priscilla looked unusually young, but Sango could have told from a mile that it was just a disguise. She simply didn't know for what. It made her uneasy. People who wore masks were always something that made her uncomfortable. She never understood why there was a need to hide yourself in front of others. She was world-open. Her entire life had been centered around the fact of being as open as you can be and taking the entire world into you while you live. And then there was this lady. Priscilla Lorelei. Not being able to figure her out at all because of her mischievous face, Sango had difficulty thinking about her. But Viola, she was a whole other book. The girl seemed overly curious, interested and upbeat. Sango liked her.

Trailing up the stairs, she could feel the boredom oozing off of Viola. Snickering as she made a little comment about the stairs, her eyes opened and her face dropped as Viola started to dash up the stairs. This was a mission that required diplomacy, something which required seeming dignified and serious. Either that or they stole it, which was not an option for Sango. They would be able to take it from the Magic Council with the right amount of debate. She was sure. Viola was naive, but Sango was positive that they would be able to rely on her heart when it counted. As for Priscilla, the look on her face told Sango that she wouldn't mind simply purloin the dagger.

With a relieving sigh, Sango took after Viola and darted up the stairs coming all the way up to Viola and then slowing down to accompany her speed. When they hit the top, Sango was astounded. This city was absolutely stunning. From the first second of entering it, noises from around the ENTIRE area invaded her ears. It was like a town that never stopped talking. From every corner of Era things echoed to all other corners. It was nearly impossible to hold secrets here unless inside a building. How interesting. It amused Sango. This was a town of security. She understood. Privacy had little importance here. Not a place she would enjoy living in. But a place that she would hold respect for from now on.

As she marveled at the unique architecture, Viola had already begun to dart in direction of the main building. A castle-like structure that towered over the rest. Sango wanted to call out to Viola to wait, but before she was able to without raising her voice, she was already off. With a sigh, Sango dashed behind her. The girl was unexpectedly swift on her legs. It didn't take long until they were through the streets. Rune Knights from every corner giving them eery stares that made Sango want to explain herself. With a simple smile she waved at them, hoping someone would know her face from the few times she had already been seen with Shuhei in the public.

Taking the first best door Viola could presumably find, she was head over heels in a storage room with boxes that had all kinds of names on them. With the door wide open, Sango felt a hard time to believe what the girl was pulling off. Arriving at the entrance to the room that was melded into the main building, she took a look above and saw a sign that read "Storage Shanties" and had a desillusioned look on her face. She was somewhat angry now. The room didn't hold whatever they needed, but it held whatever the soldiers had decided to store in their personal boxes. Walking in and tapping Viola on the shoulders, Sango spotted the same sign on a wall of the relatively small room and pointed over to it visibly. With further disbelief on her face, she walked out again whilst talking her first words of the journey. "Miss Purefoy... I don't want to intrude on your and Eclipse Soul's ways, but I truly believe that the way to the Magic Council's safe is easiest if we take the official route. I trust that the politicians of this country will realize how dire the situation if the head of the Wizard Saints is missing." She said with confidence and a certain sense of strictness in her voice she didn't knew she possessed.

"A breach of the shanties? Who left it open?" Shaku said, slightly annoyed into the lacrima that acted as a sort of intercom. With a sigh, he ran down the halls as quickly as he could, hopefully making it to the storage area before the thieves could make off with the item they were looking for. I swear to god that the Rune Knight who did this really fucked up he thought, still annoyed while dashing through the white hallways that formed the labyrinth he called headquarters. When he reached the vault, he saw two women immediately. They didn't look like thieves, and if they were, they were the worst thieves to ever have roamed the Earth. "Good day to you two, I'm Lieutenant Hitsumo. Miss, I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the vault and put the boxes down. Explain yourselves." he said authoritatively. The shanties held the personal items of the soldiers in the Fiora military. It really wasn't too dangerous for them to be in there, but it was a flagrant breach of the rules.

Two civilians wandering into a place where everyone and their mother stores what they hold dear to them. Although most things in the room may not hold material value, they more than made up for it in sentimental value. He could tell that the woman closer to the door was quite powerful, stronger than him even, but not quite as strong as his brother. I really hope I don't have to do any arresting today. That's a lot of paperwork. And oh boy if they resisted arrest. I don't think I could quite handle this darker woman. I don't thinks so though, they seem to be legal mages he thought, crossing his arms and beginning to tap his foot on the tile, slightly worried as to what they would do.

The trip to the Magic Council Headquarters was a surprisingly boring one for Priscilla, as all it held were sights the childish ancient had already seen. Era was not a new place for her in the slightest. Hell, she used to live here for pete's sakes. But that was over two centuries ago. Even as they traveled through this place that she found so mundane and boring, she couldn't wipe the cocky smirk off her face. The knowledge that a certain someone as waiting for her made her fill to the brim with excitement. She knew that the woman was waiting for her, all Priscilla had to do was show up. Ith a few friends of course. Well, a friend and a stranger.

In front of her was Viola, one of Priscilla's older friends and companions, and to her side was Sango, a person Priscilla had seen here and there but not spoken to.  the vampire could fel the suspicion and curiosity radiating from her while she tried to lok over the little girl that was Priscilla. She would find nothing, however, and simply move on to Viola, who was tasked with leading this little escapade. They were all tasked with stealing some dagger whose name Priscilla couldn't be bothered to remember, and it just so happened to be in the same location as one of the child's old companions. How lucky she was to have that happen to her. Such a lucky coincidence.

"Dear me, Viola, try not to just barge in. I'd like to at least be subtle with this little scandal of ours. My name has already gone done in history twice, and not for positive reasons either, so I don't need it getting any worse."
Priscilla commented with a small chuckle. She could hardly remember those little events, that was how old she was now. What was the technical number again? 569? Yeah, that one.
The group entered the headquarters in a not so inconspicuous way, despite the ancient vampire's warning, and proceded to make their way to the storage room. It was indeed the room with al the things in it, as Viola said, prompting Priscilla to question just what it was they had down here. It could be mostly supplies and other utilities, but there could also be other things here as well. Priscilla would have to slip back in through the shadows to check sometime, as now was not that time. It wasn't more than two minutes after they found this room before they themselves were the ones being found. Turning around, Priscilla found a rune knight that stood there and started barking orders like he had authority. Oh wait, he was a Rune Knight. That's what they were taught to do.

"Oh my, a child sems to have found his way to us. How unpleasant. Mel if you would be so kind as to call off your dogs, I would be quite the grateful creature."

"No not dogs..." A voice called out. Behind Shaku a mage appeared. She was clad in pink and greens. "Not dogs... More like mages with ambition." Her entire outfit was very gaudy. From the top of her head with her rabbit hat to the bottom of her feet with the clog like Mary Jane shoes she wore. Mel put a mitten sleeved hand on on her hip then leaned towards it. "Ah there's a familiar voice," Mel said with a smirk. Her eyes thinned as she looked at Priscilla. "Didn't think you would get bored and join a guild, Priscilla." She then turned her eyes to Viola. She could sense the dragon in her and shook her head. "So what do we have here." She stared at Sango. Something just didn't make any sense here. Mel tapped her shoes as she looked at where everyone was standing. "If I'm deducing something, you've come for a special item... but what item are you looking for?" Mel raised an eyebrow finally folding her arms and tapping her shoe again. This vault was full of items from the past that Mel had collected and donated under many guises. Along with those items she had several protected items in the vault. Mel made sure to keep items that held some residual darkness under lock and key. The only people who had access to it were those in the seats of the council.

Viola already had a box in her hands. It was a cardboard box, but heavy and obviously full of something valuable. Hearing Sango's remark she twisted around with the box still held carelessly in her two hands. It was of average size, halfway open to reveal glass pots and such. Quite clearly not what they were looking for. "Eh, we can find this on our own!" she beamed with a toothy grin developing onto her face before it was out a delay replaced with surprise. A ruin knight, raven hair and a stern expression just seemed to appear out of nowhere by the door, the box flying out of her hands. With a shatter, the pots and such tumbled out, her face growing a deadly pale as she would gawk at the ruin knight, and then the box. Melody only face palmed at her friend's fail.

"W-We were just..." swallowing the lump in her throat she attempted to come up with a reasonable explanation, "Looking for a---- Fox! Aha!" roughly clasping onto Melody she held her out, "Here we found her! Silly little Mel-chan, always running off!" she would say, laughing rather sheepishly as Melody only frowned at her with an expression that read what-the-hell-are-you-doing?

Her anxiousness was brushed away like dust as Priscilla vocaled up, another woman appearing into the scene. Her presence was intimidating, and the fact that her comrade knew her, must've meant she was the real deal. "Our guild-master is in trouble!" Viola said, speaking up as her eyes narrowed. A look of intense seriousness sparked in her ocean blue hues as she stared coldly at this Mel woman, "He's been gone for awhile, and we've just been informed that he's in the Arcane Realm, possibly in need of our help!" holding Melody underneath her arm she lashed out an index finger toward the bunny-hat woman, "The dagger of warren is one of the pieces of the puzzle we need to getting into this realm, and finding our guild-master!... So... Where the hell is it?" her eyes closed for a moment before reopening again to await an answer.

The shiver that went down Sango's spine could have moved mountains. The moment the strict voice lifted itself upon the group she squinted her eyes as if it would all be over if she just kept them shut long enough. Slowly opening them again, she saw a black-haired Rune Knight, quite clearly not of ordinary skill and rank. Sango had understood by now that she was the most diplomatic of the three, and just as she took in a breath to raise her voice and "Oh my" came from her side directed towards the young knight.

What followed had Sango's eyes widen and look at Priscilla with a look of disbelief. "That was... incredibly disrespectful." she whispered as if talking to herself. When an eerily dressed woman came along who had questionable style, Sango's eyebrows went into 'oh-please-not-a-council-member' formation. With a sigh and rubbing her temples, Sango was ready to give up when Viola had barged some unhelpful remarks from behind. This girl was too naive for her own good.

Taking a stand in front of the two Rune Knights, Sango went on to bow in a short break where nobody seemed to know what to say. Raising her hands and closing her eyes as a sign of non-aggression, she began to talk. "I apologize for our rudeness and intrusion, but we have not come here for confrontation. We require help. We are seeking fo-" "Our guild-master is in trouble!" came in from behind interrupting Sango and breaking the overall tension in the atmosphere through Viola's continuous shouting of why they were here.

Opening one eye while pressing the other shut, Sango looked up from her bowed position to the council member and the Rune Knight wanting to see their reaction. It was bound to not be positive, but sometimes the direct route was the best. After all, now their purpose had been thrown into the faces of their agressors. All they could do now was accept or deny. And then the real issue would start. Praying to countless gods, Sango hoped that this would end well.

Shaku signed and looked boredom at this girl who addressed him so rudely. "Nice to meet you too. It's always nice to see there are still some polite people in this world" he said sardonically before looking at the darkest girl of the three who was visibly pained by the attitude of the child. I wouldn't want to be her right now. I feel kinda sorry that she had to travel with this naive girl he thought before glancing at the kookiest of the three. "The Dagger of Warren eh?-" he said, remembering the item from the clipboard that he recorded the contents of the vault on while taking inventory. "That's quite the predicament. A guild master has disappeared and you need a dangerous artifact to potentially get him back" he said to the group. "Do you see where I'm going with this? Typically you'd need to fill out a requisition form and wait a week or two for the Council to approve you. But, seeing as how this is quite the emergency, I think we could help you. Only if she goes, though, and has no part in this operation. We don't need a naive girl anywhere NEAR a dangerous artifact and honestly I really feel like either I, Mel, or the girl that's ashamed to be among you is the one to handle it" he said again before taking a breath and turning to whisper into Mel's ear.

"A missing Saint is the definition of emergency. Why don't we have any amendments to the Rulebook about these things. I don't particularly want to make it a habit of breaking protocols. Of course the actual decision depends on you. I'll help them whether or not you want to, but it would really be easier if you went along with them as well" he told his superior, making sure to get his potential defiance across in the hopes that she would simply turn her back and a blind eye towards him should they choose to go down this road.

Cathrine hurried though the halls of the Rune Knight headquarters, mentally scolding herself. There had been some sort of break in the HQ, but instead of helping to stop it, the half cat had been in one of the training halls, oblivious to what was going on until another Rune Knight had informed her.

The half cat ran into the hallway where miss Mel and Shaku were standing, facing three mages who were clearly not Rune Knights. They must be the intruders, Cathrine thought to herself as she looked to see what the thieves were taking. Cathine's ears flattened against her head with anger as she looked into the room where she and the other Rune Knights kept their private possessions.

Cathrine walked up to where Shaku and Mel were talking, summoning her father's pistol as she came up, just in case there was some sort of danger. When she reached the two others, Cathrine looked to Mel and asked, "Miss Mel, what do you plan to do about these people?"

Vierorin was running along the various hallways trying to find the training hall he was supposed to meet Cathrine, he was very well running late zipping through the halls with Zekkaria flying behind him scolding him every step of the way. He had been hearing some kind of an announcement ringing throughout the building but hadn’t been paying attention, “Vierorin!” Zekkaia was trying to get his attention, but the fourteen year old young man had gotten lost, and was looking around trying to find his way, “Vierorin!” He then stopped suddenly and turned around, “What Zekkaria??” Zekkaria glared at him and said, “That announcement we have been hearing is an Intruder Alert!” She paused for a moment and then pointed one of her claws to the right, “And the cause is right there!”

Vierorin slowly turned to his left and saw Fancy Mel, Shaku and Cathrine Standing in front of three mages, he stood there for a moment his jaw hanging open. He then snapped out of it and then walked up like he knew what was going on, “Vierorin Reporting for duty Mam!” He stood there for a moment, hoping that Cathrine had forgotten about the meeting and wondering what exactly was going on.

Listening to the Rune Knight's words, Priscilla's cocky grin only grew as she sunk into the shadows behind Viola. "No one is going anywhere, dear boy. Lest you wish to be responsible for master Zeno's death" said Priscilla's voice from all around the room. Anywhere there was a shadow, there came the childish voice of the vampire girl. It betrayed her true nature all too well. The torso and all its parts sprouted from Shaku's back as the young girl proceeded to try and annoy him. Revenge for annoying her and acting like he had authority in the presence of people as important as Mel and her.

"Now now, dear boy, your authority is lost on us for many a reason." Priscilla said from behind Shaku before fading back into the shadows on his back.

Priscilla came out of the ground just beneath Catherine's feet and held gently onto the girl's legs before saying. "For instance, our guild master is in trouble. Your orders are lost on us."

Fading back into the ground, Priscilla reappeared out of Vierorins chest, her arms folded and her gaze stil focused on Shaku. "Not only that, but as your elder I have more say than you in this situation, and I say nobody gets to leave this room until the Warren's Dagger is in the posession of Eclipse Soul."

Priscilla faded back into the ground and reappeared out of Mel's back this time, her arms gently wrapping around the woman's neck. "Not only that, but all three of us could overpower all four of you in a heartbeat."

Finally, Priscilla vanished back into the shadows once more only to sprout out from Mel's chest, but this time she loked different. She appeared to be about 18 not, with a purple hoodie and black tank top beneath. Her hair was tied into a side ponytail now as well. to help signify the sudden change.

"And you, Mel... How do you think we should get reacquianted with each other? Surely there's a way to do that while still getting this silly little dagger for the children..." Even her voice was deeper, as was audible when she spoke. Priscilla didn't seem to take any shame in her actions as her hands came up to cup Mel's cheek tenderly, and their faces came to be only a few inches apart. "Keep in mind I have a mate now. Any... intimate options you may have thought of, are a no no. You'll just have to keep your hidden lusts for me to yourself~" she teased as a slight blush formed across her face. She wanted this scene to look as strange as possible without it actually becoming... that.

Mel raised an eyebrow. "Looks like things are rather awkward right now." She gripped a hand on Priscilla's wrist. She then put the hand down to her chest. "If you feel the fact that there is no flutter in my heart, it means you've already lost your chance a few years ago to actually get to it." She then turned toward the vault. "Master Zeno being missing is a huge deal. I'm sorry for you loss. However there are specific rules in place to get that weapon. Warden's dagger is nothing to joke about." She looked at her Rune Knights and held a hand up. "I will hand the dagger over to you, you just need to understand that it's not anything to be quite frank with. Meaning... Someone's going to have to get it out of the vault. We don't have anything to really use."

Mel lead them through the vault. Then to a specific glass box with a stone in it. "The way it works is, one item inside at all times. Meaning you can't just grab it with something other than flesh." Mel had pulled off her mitten and smiled warmly. "I will get the dagger, but you must take it from me." She looked over at the group. "Do you understand what I'm saying?" She didn't wait for an answer. She reached her hand into the glass box and grabbed the dagger by the hilt. An aura around her burst and flew forward making all those who are D rank and lower prone to the floor for a minute. Her eyes shifted colors to a full red.

"I may have failed with Acnologia this time, but I will not fail with any of you." It seemed like a suit of armor, transparent, covered her body. It wasn't there, but at the same time it was. Her face contorted to a twisted evil smirk. This wasn't Mel anymore. This was what ever residual energy Warden had left in the dagger.

An anime anger symbol arosed by the side of her head, cold yet fiery gaze shooting invisible daggers at the ruin knight with lengthy raven hair. "What did you say?!" she would growl, raising up her tightened fist in an aggressive way. It wasn't till two more ruin knights appeared that caused her expression to loosen, beads of sweat promptly making their way onto her face. Though, she didn't lower her hand, but, instead proved to keep her posture and deep frown while glancing from the ruin knights, and then this bunny hat lady. Damn, we need to hurry it up here, she thought, her patience easing into frustration.

Instead of clamouring at them all, with a natural roar to her boisterous voice. She let Priscilla speak instead. Seeping her hand back by her side, she felt much more composed than before. It was quite obvious to her that the blonde-haired woman, had this effect on her. She seemed to be there whenever the childish dragon were in trouble. Viola smiled barely, too meager to be noticed by anybody but Melody who was settled on her shoulder now.

Although, when Mel vocaled out, she snapped from her calm state to a more cautious one. She was content once she heard of the woman's understanding for their guild master. And followed her with-out delay into the vault. It was narrow, especially once you stepped inside, but after a few minutes of walking, with nothing but the sounds of everyones footfalls to comfort her, they lastly came to a wide and grand opening. Ancient yet dangerous looking objects were placed in glass boxes, settled on a cement posts and all lengthly aside from one another. Viola observed each and every one, a skittish feeling creeping up her back and causing her to shudder gingerly. She peered over at Mel, regarding the certain one she had erected before was where the dagger was settled.

Widening her eyes, she stepped aside from Mel, nearest to her than anybody else in the room now. Eager to get the dagger, Viola recalled one thing. One tiny fact that played through her mind vividly as Mel's bare hand attained for the dagger.

"Your pendant is going to help find Warren's Dagger. He defeated him with the help of every other guild. Seek out the dagger. Please be careful about touching it. You will need to wrap it in a white cloth. Other wise you will be staining your hands with your fellow team's blood."

It was then she noticed the pendant just lightly hidden beneath her shirt, glowing a bright violet, even vibrating against her hand as she tugged it out and held onto it with a minor hint of problem. Shit, she thought to herself, peering up to look at Mel. Her expression had fully changed to a more sinister one, eyes extending as one certain word rolled off of her tongue. Acnologia. With a sigh, she fearlessly took a step forward, so close to Mel she could taste the emotion of anger that loomed from her body. "Who are you?" she questioned calmly.
