The bullets tore into the flesh of the gigantic insect. The damage from the bullets hit it hard getting into spaces between its armored scales. This could be considered both fortunate and unfortunate for Mary because whilst it allowed her escape and took out a powerful foe the taking out of said foe had caused Sinali's eye to fully open and a bellow of rage and sadness to fly from her mouth.

Perhaps then it was fortunate that the blinding flash of light occured. Perhaps it was the death of Perry that somehow triggered the flash of light. However, it seemed that whatever the light was it had removed three of the opponents. So perhaps in fact it was unfortunate because now Sinali's full wrath could be turned entirely on Mary.

She lunged towards the woman and shouted out in fury. "Garm destroy that woman's pets. She's MINE!" She did not think, she did not hesitate. She ran like a juggernaut eye fully open and whip sword at the ready. "Nobody hurts my Perry." she leapt at the woman aiming to stab her with her sword. It was as she leapt she noticed that Perry wasn't moving at all and that just added more anger to her stab.

Smoke clearing from Marys gun as she put them away to cool off, Mary kicked the body of Perry in a swift motion. That was a bit harrowing, but nothing that Mary's training did not allow to handle... Well except a bunch of dogs from the horror novels. Mary sighed, "Great, complications. Well nothing we can't handle right Towa? Towa?" Mary's eyes were crossing a bit in frustration at the lack of partner in this whole endeavor. Did she run or was there something larger at work? It mattered little as her summons were engaged by these things and left Mary with the Zombie child. Mary actually looked at the girl and there was just a bit of sadness in the nun's eyes. She was attacking a child, nothing could be more demoralizing than that. Her training as a psychoanalysis kicking in to add a bit of psychological drama.

"Sad thing is that I wish that this meeting was earlier. You are not a product of sin, but of years of abuse. Probably abuse as a mortal... parents beating you? No, that be too much. It needed to be something that filled you with utter hate and contempt for humanity... Slave?

Mary's advanced with walking over the body of Perry until it got to the creatures head and stepped on it hard. Mary had to use the weapon... No matter how much darkness it brought... Chains fell from her hand and the tip of the first half of the Kusarigama came out of her sleeve to block Sinali's attack. Mary's eyes went from the complete naive priest look to something much darker as her face now looked at Sinali.

"But most likely somebody's pet..."

thorn gasped she she witnessed perry fall to the floor dead her heart stopped for a moment as she glanced at Perry's body now slumped onto the floor her color somehow seemed to be more doll, she had become attached to in insect thing of Sinali's and a tear rolled down thorns check her mind raced she wondered how Sinali would react to the death of her pet "killing perry was bad but stamping on the dead's head is disrespectful!" thorn stated looking at Mary her fist clenched in anger and her body shock slightly her rage irradiated through her body as she thought of something eval to do to have pay back.

Thorn walked over to Sinali keeping her eyes on mary "I would of shut up if I where you calling Sinali someones pet is a one way ticket to death!" she said lightly looking down at sinali " would you like this toy for yourself?" she asked with a soft smile. it was answer was obvious but thorn wanted to try and frighten Mary by calling her a toy and Sinali had a reputation around her toys. Thorn sighed her hand made a jester and a root appeared from the ground lifted perry's lifeless body from the floor and placed her away from all of them this was so no more damage was done to perry and whatever Sinali wished to do with the body would be able to be done.

"STOP TALKING!" Sinali roared. Her anger had gone to entire new level as she saw this woman, this rune knight, this...priest, stamp on the head of Perry. She had been fooling herself into thinking the giant insect was still alive, but now she knew differently. On top of that this woman had called her somebody's pet. She had killed Perry, defiled the corpse so not even Sinali could reviver her as an undead, and insulted her. She would be destroyed. Every inch of her. Unfortunately, her blow was blocked and the two weapons collided. Sinali did not grin. Her anger was too great, but as the weapons collided she activated the blade's whip mode and it quickly wrapped around the kusarigama. She landed on the ground and then did something quite interesting. She opened her mouth and extended her tongue. Immediately it split into three spiked versions all of which attempted to wrap around her target. She wanted to keep this woman alive. To torture her and cause her pain. Besides, having the DNA of a rune knight might be useful in the future.

"Dieeee" she slurred through her open mouth. The tongue made it difficult to speak, but it didn't bother her. She had her weapon wrapped around her opponents and was using a powerful attack to do some damage. Two of the tongues went for her legs, attempting to wrap them whilst the other went for her neck. It would be hard for her to avoid all three.

"Hit a soft spot. Oh good I was second guessing all of that with no evidence."

Mary's eyes narrowed for a mere moment before one of the keys tingled to reveal a blind spirit. A humanoid woman would appear as if out of nowhere itself. The Spirit had no small amount of insolence to be had... or there was an emergency. The spirit quickly bowed to her Dark Queen and gave her report to her leader.

"Your highness, Purgatory is under attack by the Dark Celestial Spirits"

"Again?! Can't the Demon and the Spirit King leaves us alone?"

"We need you in our world immediately and apologize wheth-"

The spirit was caught off as the attack Sinali did wrapped around this spirits body and squeezed the legs and neck. It caused the Dark Celestial Spirit to gag. Mary paused to consider her options and then sighed. There was more important things than fighting and arresting the 2. Spirits were at risk, the very ones she swore to protect. So shaking her head she pulled the platinum key and opened a portal to Purgatory itself, a land that looked of eternal twilight and walked inside it. All her spirits began to follow suit as they all puffed in shadows one by one until there was only the dark mages. Conquest was however furious.

"You accepted defeat and let the enemy get away. Have I taught you nothing girl? How will they respect you when you accept loss like that?

"It was not a defeat. Simply a diversion, can't you see I probably killed on of the few friends that girl had? Angry people make stupid decisions, we will find her again and defeat her properly. Let this sense of sadness sink in her a little bit and we prepare for a bigger Conquest. Come on Conquest, hope your ready to hurt some souls."

Mary smirked as she walked away and prepared to defend the domain that she owned once again. This was the land that she would promise her children when peace was finally acquired, but could there be truly any peace in Earthland or Spirit Realms? No, there would never be any true peace. Only Conquest.

Thorn was stunned into silence for a moment before she was able to look at Sinali a tear rolled down her cheek. Thorn slowly walked over to the body of Perry an lifted it gently before taking it to sinali. her hands shock slightly Thorn was afraid of what Sinali would do after the pet that had been with her a long time longer than even thorn knew.

her mind wondered back to the first time she had meet Perry and every fight they had after that Perry was a good comrade and a good friend. thorn was sad because she had just got to know Perry and she swore inside her head not showing her weakness. savage skull tried to never show there weakness for others.

"We will avenge her but today we have a job to do lets take kill every bastard in there and make them suffer!" she stated wondering what she should do with the body of the insect queen.

Thorns eyes drifted over to the old city and sighed softly she wanted to kill everyone in there and kill them in the most painful way she could think of and her thoughts where dark.

Before Sinali could truly unleash her anger against the rune knight she pulled out a key and vanished into what Sinali could only think was another dimension. She looked over at the body of Perry who had been carried over by Thorn. There was both anger and sadness on her face as she stared at the body. There was little she could do with it at the moment. "Hold onto her for me Berry." With that she didn't wait for another word and took off at a run activating a basic D rank spell. Wings erupted from her back and she tore into the sky. She landed atop the thieves building. She didn't even wait. She walked straight down into the building and was immediately confronted with one recruit, ten swordsman and five wizards.

She didn't even hesitate. Without a moment to wait she leapt at the recruit and before he could react slammed him into the ground. With three long tongues she knocked the swordsman aside cutting into them and charged at the mages. They all gestured up a barrier of fire preventing her getting close. She roared out in anger and took her rage out on the cartel swordsman. With the power of her tongues she swung into them again killing them all.

"You'll need more than swords to bring me down." she said and whistled. The 13 garm she had summoned earlier came down the stairs. How they had got to the top of the building nobody could say, except perhaps Thorn. But the 13 garm were more than enough to distract the mages.

Thorn nodded at sinali's command and once Sinali had disappeared thorn walked to the nearest cactus as spoke quickly asking to use a arm once it agreed thorn tock the part from the cactus using a thorn from the cactus she opened it up and fashioned some ropes up out of her clothing Thorn made a back pack. She placed Perry gently with in it making shore she did not damage the insect queen anymore than she was by the look sinali had on her face she would not forgive thorn if she damaged perry any more. Thor walked back to the garm there ears where at  ; .8 and they where getting ready to go so thorn jumped on the/; back of one and went with them.

her hope they where going to sinali was correct when they got to the tower thorn hoped down nodding her thanks to the garm who had carried her and walked over to sinali "did you really think i would let you have all the fun?" she asked her eyes corsuse of the fire. thorn tock a deep breath and breathed out her poisonous smog making the mages go into darkness and suffocation at least she hoped.

Sinali barely even noticed the arrival of Thorn. She lunged forward her tongues swatting out the fire before the smog even touched it. The fog moved over and the mage's casting them all into darkness. The mage's were a bit too strong to be overwhelmed by the poison and it caused them to do nothing more than cough. However, it wasn't long before two of them were lifted off the ground by their necks via the tongues. Sinali stabbed the third one towards the final mage, but it narrowly missed. Fortunately for her it was merely a distraction as she swung the other two mages into him just as they were casting fire spells. The two spells collided with the mage causing an explosion that made Sinali laugh.

"You'll all pay for her death." she roared leaping at them and pulling them towards her with the tongues at the same time. The two forces collided in the middle causing her to crush the skulls of the two mages killing them instantly. The third was all that was left and he was pretty badly injured. With a quick flick of all three tongues she impaled him and added his DNA to her arsenal. It might be useful in the future. She licked her lips and retracted the tongues as much as possible before continuing. The garm had feasted upon the corpses of the dead swordsman, and finished off those that weren't quite dead. Thorn's fog had helped weaken them. Sinali however didn't even acknowledge her and continue downwards looking for the cartel leader.

Thorn sighed softly shacking her head watching Sinali go. thorn quickly followed she was not going to interfere with sinali well interfere with her kills, thorn knew that would be a bad idea but she was not about to leave her alown especially in the angry state she had consumed.

"Sinali you will get yourself killed if you don't think before running off!" she stated softly trying to snap sinali back into reality. as if her words where magic Thorn skidded to a stop and sighed softly fifteen swordsman stood between them and there pathway "well this will be interesting!" she stated lightly looking at the men thorn grinned lightly gripping her staff thorn became ready for the fight ahead.

As the men ran forward thorn ran at the man getting surrounded almost immediately thorn kept moving trying to keep all the man in her sight. Using her staff like a spear thorn brought it forward attempting to wind some of the swordsman. Thorn made a collision with three of the men and blocked another's sword slashing at her wildly.

thorn had to think fast on her feet her most useful spells had not quite become strong enough yet so she was fighting a hand to hand or a weapon to weapon combat .

Immediately as the men came out Sinali let out another whistle and the Garm immediately turned to go and help Thorn. Sinali however didn't stop. She was in a murderous mood, but these men were pathetic. Besides, Thorn and the Garm could easily handle them. She kept going and eventually came to a room with a large crate inside. This crate was what snapped her out of her rage. Why? Because the mark on the crate was one that was very familiar to her. It was the mark of the Tower, one of the Tarot organizations leaders, but more importantly the owner of the tower where she had been a slave. These lacrima had been stolen from the tarot organization and whats more, they likely came from a similar tower to what she had resided. Or perhaps...they might be from her tower.

Now she had another reason to be angry, but her anger was more focused. She now had a target. Whoever was running this operation would have some information she needed. She was about to go look for said people when another fifteen of the swordsman walked in. She raised an eyebrow. Were these men idiots? Or had they just not got the memo. "Where is your boss? You toys are not worth my time."

"Young girls shouldn't poke their noses into business that doesn't concern them." one of them said walking forward taking out his sword. Sinali cracked her neck and prepared her own sword. It was time to deal with these men.

Thorn sighed softly shacking her head as Sinali left here there with the gram Thorn was careful to not let the swords man slash her back she was protecting whatever was left off Perry. As the garm started to tear into the man from all sides the men became desperate, thinking Thorn now had control over the vicious animal things the men started to slash without control and prostitution. Thorn swiped at a swords man knocking his sword out of his hand thorn quickly garbed it and slashed his throat with a quick movement she was turning around and around making herself open a points to the blades her skin had become torn with clean slashes her blood dripped slowly onto the floor none of the wounds where fatal enough to make much of an effect. With the garm killing any swordsman that stood in there way they where quickly getting low in numbers.

Thorn smiled she thought she should train with a sworn they had become handy more than once know. dodging and slashing thorn moved quickly through the men and with the garms help she had soon defeated the man around her and started to wonder where Sinali had ran off to and started to go after her but it wasn't long before thorn was getting into yet another fight with eleven more enemies this time she sore that six had power.

the new threats where something thorn thought she could handle with her new friends and got into a defensive stance ready for the fight ahead.

Sinali smiled and leapt upwards suddenly catching the man off guard. He managed to land behind the man and in the middle of around four. With a quick spin slash using all her might she bifurcated three of them seperating the top of their body from the bottom. The fourth managed to block the blow, but the sword he was wielding was broken. She grinned and leapt backward backflipping over the original man just as he turned round. As she flipped she had timed it in such a way that she kicked him in the back of the head sending him flying towards the one with the broken sword. Sinali grinned and thrust her sword forward extending it into whip mode. It stabbed the man in the back and she quickly jerked him back using him as a human shield to block blows from two of the other men.

"Four down, eleven to go." Sinali said with a dark smile and a wicked laugh. She leapt back to give herself some room between the men who began to arrange themselves as they moved forward. Their arrangement was such that it wouldn't be possible for her to get into the middle of them. IT also made them into a formidable defense. She tilted her head thoughtfully. "Scared boys?" It was clear they were. They had underestimated her like most did when they first saw the 8 year old undead queen.

Thorn smiled softly her head tilted to the side wondering how she would fight these appointment she did not see one of them through a fire ball at thorn hitting her in the gut thorn screamed in pain bubbled over the was going to have to think of a way to fight them without using her plant magic as much as . Thorn griped the sword she had obtained from one of the swordsman earlier and ran forward this time she sore the fire ball being thrown and dodged just in time Thorn slashed at the mage she missed twice as he was fast but Thorn managed to slash him across his torso coursing blood to start to drip onto the floor.

thorn smiled softly she jumped back as she was attacked by the swords man thorn grabbed her staff and started to manipulate it with her magic making it shot forward thorn stabbed someone through the chest at a second glance thorn sore she had killed a swords man she swung her root from side to side the action did not make any difference she still had ten people left and thorn figured it would not be long until more would turn up. "so who's next?" she asked retreating her root thorn had to remove the lifeless body using her foot.

Eleven enemies down all grouped together . More of them crowded in bringing the total, if you counted the dead ones, up to 30. They thought that staying all grouped together would protect them. Sadly, they were very much mistaken on that part. She grinned deeply and leapt into the air suddenly and spat out a huge ball of acid. The ball of acid hit the centre of the group and exploded coating all eleven of the men in the corrosive liquid slowly burning away their flesh. They were suffer intense pain as they were slowly whittle down. Sinali on the other hand used her wings to fly over the top of them. All of them would die soon enough so she did not need to worry much about them.

However, as she left the room she immediately encountered another twelve men. She growled in anger and charged at them with her sword. The men grouped themselves together once more. Sadly, she couldn't do much against that this time because she didn't have any more area of effect spells. She needed to consider that for the future. For now though she leapt at the last moment and flipped in the air axe kicking one of the men in the head causing his head to explode coating the others in blood. She stood there for a moment atop the dead man's body. It was a surreal moment as if gravity did not know what to do. She took that moment to her advantage and backflipped off the man and landed behind the group. With a swift movement she lunged slamming her sword through one man before quickly pulling out and whipping her sword in such a way that it bound the men and began to slowly crush them. "Where is your boss? Where is the lacrima?"

"We'll never tell you." one of them said.

"Ok then...was going to let you play a bit longer, but.." With that she suddenly pulled the sword causing the sword to pull in tight cutting into the men. She tugged again and it bifurcated them all. "...you broke too easily."

thorn smiled softly as her root shot forward the men ran forward her root shot forward piercing through on of the mans chest she then swung him side to side knocking others into the side winding them. the strongest men managed to get out the way but only just she had crippled most of them and they would not be getting up soon this gave thorn an advantage to take out the strongest of the men then deal with the weaker ones. picking up a sword again thorn raced forward slashing at the men in no skilled way just hopping the randomness would catch them off guard and let Thorn deal some damage. She was not so lucky this time her sword missed everyone and not it was there tune. thorn pushed past them as they began to attack they hit there mark and corsed thorn immense pain but she did not stop she needed Sinali and that is where she was going.

flame shot past as she ran down the hall skidding around corners hoping to lose the men she had no hope well this is hat she thought until her luck changed and in front of her was sinali against her own enemies "I could use some help!" she wheezed as she came up next to Sinali she hoped she would get what she needed of the girl with a one track mind at the moment.

Sinali didn't have much left to do apart from find the boss of the cartel and recover the lacrima. However, it was also a difficult task. The boss hadn't been anywhere in the facility so far. It also seemed the lacrima weren't active as she couldn't sense it. However, before she had a chance to look for anymore after taking down these twelve Thorn came rushing in asking for help. With her came 5 of the swordsman and nine more mages. There were quite a lot of enemies it seemed.

It seemed that the Garm were not present either. Had they been destroyed? No, she could still sense them. It was time to even up the odds she felt. She whistled and with another howl the garm came charging up and leapt at the five swordsman easily tearing them apart before they had a chance to react. A couple of the garm fell during the result and the mages blasted apart a few reducing their number to eight. Still, it was now 10 on 9 if you included Sinali and Thorn.

"Thorn. You head off ahead and try to find the boss." Sinali ordered and then charged in. As she did the mages created a wall of fire preventing her getting up close. It was an annoyance to say the least and she didn't have any real magic power to get through it. THe garm also couldn't get close.

thorn cursed slightly to loud backing up from the blazing hot flames her eyes squinted and her arm shot up in an attempt to cover her face. Thorn glances at sinali out the corner of her eye before throwing tiny objects through the fire so small they where able to get through without two much damage "well as that plan went a bit on the back bench how about I cover you and you do something ever silly, stupid or plain brilliant!" she stated she knew she would be punished for that in the future but she did not really care right then.

Thorn closed her eyes and reached out to the two objects she had thrown no one had noticed them fly straight past. thorn smiled as she emagened the plants grow into deadly flowers as they blossomed black thick smoke filled the air quickly this coursed the fire mages to mutter in concern they could not see this is what thorn wanted and soon the smog would start to make them choke and splutter this might give sinai enough time to figure out something.

thorn looked about trying to figure out her next move at the same time trying not to get to close to the flames.

The smoke that Thorn used was very useful. It disorientated the mage's briefly and caused them to cough and choke weakening their fire barrier significantly. However, it would still set things on fire which was quite perfect in her mind. She grabbed some of the dead bodies near her and begun flinging them through the fire barrier. They were quite moist so didn't catch fire that well. Well, the bodies didn't. There clothing did though. So what in essence ended up going into the poison cloud were flaming bodies. The first few were merely to light up the smoke a bit allowing her to see shadows and thus identify where the bodies were. Then she began to get more accurate.

However, it seemed the mage's were able to avoid the flaming bodies. Almost as if they could sense them coming. Perhaps due to the fact they were on fire. Sinali considered the next plan and then suddenly leapt at an angle upwards with full might. The ground below her cracked slightly, but the ceiling she hit she went straight through. As soon as she was through she struck the ground hard and caused it to break. The floor began to crumble and fall, straight onto the guards below. Hopefully, due to the poison smoke and the flaming bodies preventing movement it would hit. Plus the garm were covering their retreat so there was little area to escape. Hopefully, Thorn would be able to survive it. If she didn't though she wasn't worthy of serving Sinali.

As the floor crumbled Sinali came down into the middle of the poison cloud. Her sensory allowed her to detect that four of the mage's had been knocked unconcious, but five still remained. Judging by their magic power fluctuation they had been hit quite heavily. Sinali quickly lashed out with her sword trying to strike at one of them and heard the satisfying sound of flesh rending. Another one that had fallen.

Thorn smirked softly her eyes drifted softly to Sinali as she watch her through the dead body's "throwing dead body's nice touch!" she stated lightly as she watched where they where landing and started to see shadows. Thorn was confused by this as in the past even fire could not be seen over a arm distance away she wondered if something was wrong with her magic.

Thorn swore when she sore Sinali jumping up and went right through the roof Thorn went down bringing her arm up covering her face as the roof came fulling down and she got hit. Thorn winced as she tested her body for the damage and she found she had a broken arm and ribs these made it difficult to breath she had browsing all over her body but she managed to stand back up and look over to where Sinali had come back through the ceiling her eyes slowly adjusted to the cloud of dust that had come down and smiled softly as she noticed the fire was not gone.

Thorn smirked softly gripping her staff with her good arm she slowly made her way to Sinali "A bit of warning next time!" she stated angrily through gritted teeth her eyes landed on the slavers and smirked "four against two how is this fare" she asked lightly tilting her head as she thrust the staff forward towards a slavers throat crushing it coursing the slaver to chock and suffocate. Thorn smiled down at the slaver as she watched him die from lack of air.
