What the fudge?!

So, some bloke wanted to steal someones fudge recipe, sounded like a waste of time to Lilith, but then again, it was easy money for something so simple, hell, the man she was told to steal from wasn't even at home which made it even easier for her. Now it was just a matter of finding the house, which was easier said than done. Lilith had never been in Peace Village before and for a few reasons, first was that she had never passed it during her time walking around the world but also the fact that it sounded rather boring.

After speaking to some locals she had gotten enough information about the chef she was going to steal from and was even given an address to his house. "Hmh, this job just got a whole lot easier." She thought as she looked at the piece of paper while she compared it to various street signs.

After a few more minutes of walking she came across the street she was looking for, it didn't take a whole lot more time to find the house she was looking for either. She put away the address note into her pocket and it didn't look as she had expected. Looking over her shoulders to make sure that there wasn't anyone looking at her as she walked onto the yard.

She kept walking for a bit until she appeared on the backside of the house, it was a simple house. Two stories, the upper a bit smaller with the lower floor sticking out to the side, no visible way of getting up onto the roof of the first floor though. But it didn't seem that high, she thought and tilted her head. Lilith stepped back a bit and looked at the house. "Yeah, I can reach the ledge if I jump..." She thought and looked around once more to make sure no one was observing her.

Leaning forward slightly she pushed her feet against the ground and ran towards the house, once she got close enough she jumped. She saw the ledge come closer and then felt her hands touch the ledge followed by her feet hitting the wall.

After pulling herself up onto the ledge she stood up on the slightly slanted roof, running her hands over her pants she wiped away any dirt she had gotten on herself after she had crawled against the roof. Now, all she needed was a window and she was set, she looked up towards the wall and there was indeed a window, closed though. She tilted her head and looked at the window, she could smash it but that'd make noise.

Lilith looked at the sides of the windows and saw the hinges, she could try and lift up the window from it's hinges then put it down. She sighed and took out her dagger from it's holster within her west and tapped the back of it as she thought again. "This is going to take time." She thought and put the dagger against the window and began drawing an arc close to the handle.

Twenty minutes later of slowly damaging the glass with the blade she was done, with a gentle tap she hit the cut part of the window and watched as the piece of glass fell into the house, leaving her enough room to move her hand through the window and open the handle from the inside. After opening the window she looked around and saw no one as she slipped in and closed the window after her. She looked around the room she had entered, looks like she had stepped into the bedroom, now it was time for another monotone action, looking for the damn recipe.

She began by opening any and all drawers in the room before she began moving things around and putting them back in place, checking under the bed and even under the bedcovers, still nothing. After searching in the bedroom she began moving out into the hall and continued her search. How hard could it be to find a piece of paper? After looking through the drawer in the hall she began looking behind paintings as she moved downstairs and began her search there when she stopped and thought for a bit. Where do you usually keep recipes? In the Kitchen.

"Way to go, Lilith, way to go." She thought to herself as she moved around the house, looking for the kitchen. For being a chef it was rather clean, she had expected it to be full of various things such as flour, sugar, eggs and all that stuff. She walked up to a chelf full of books and sighed, this was going to take a long time.

Upon pulling out the first book she saw a single piece of paper slowly falling down to the floor, blinking Lilith put the book back and leaned down to pick up the paper. From the looks of the content this was the recipe, shrugging she folded the paper and put it inside her west before walking back upstairs then out of the window.

Lilith didn't bother to close the window, so she moved towards the edge of the roof before jumping down when she heard a dog barking somewhere. Lilith froze and looked around, she did not like dogs, not at all. She swallowed and began moving towards the street when she heard the barking again. "Nope, screw this." She thought as her tattoos began to glow, she moved her hands in front of her as if she was pulling a pair of curtains to the side and disappeared from sight.

Stretching she looked around and let out a sigh of relief, there, safe in her own alternate dimension. She began to walk back towards the place where she had met the man who had hired her. As she walked away from the house she began to look for a decent place to appear on and saw an alley not too far in front of her. She walked into it and the once slightly blue hue over her vision disappeared as she reappeared in the normal dimension. "Now, to get back to the chef who hired her."

It took Lilith around twenty minutes to find the old man who had hired her, she walked up to him and handed him the folded paper. "Here you go, your, 'letter'." she said and held out her hand. In return for the recipe and the fact that she had done it so quickly she was paid a total of 1,500 Jewels.

After she got her money she turned around and never looked back, she was done and she doubted she'd return to Peace Village in a long time.
