Dinner by the Sea ( Private Daemon and Sonya)

The current time is 8:30 pm. The night life of Hargeon city was in full swing. On the main streets the restaurants and shops were alive with the sounds of laughter and drunken bar brawls that flowed through the streets . A few yards away inside the local park a young turquoise haired individual was sitting on a park bench. The Young male was wearing a black v-neck t-shirt black jeans and midnight blue sandals. In his left hand he held carefully onto a small bouquet of red roses. The male was staring at the roses and thinking about his girlfriend Yuna . They've mostly kept their relationship a secret due to the annoying teasing guild members making fun of how the warm gentle spirit has pacified the wild animal.

A few mins passed as Daemon leaned against the bench with a rare expression on his face. Daemon was actually smiling and looking forward to the date with Yuna-chan.

The young Guildmaster had been looking foward to her date for quite a while now. She had even gone to Rose Garden's grand malls to buy something for the occasion with Lina, her boyfriend's sister. After hours of searching through the countless beautiful malls, the girls had finally settled on an elegant, yet casual knee length dress for her to wear. Hours before the date, Yuna had dressed up and fussed with her hair until finally deciding to let her hair fall loose around her shoulders. She had even gone as far as applying faint traces of light make up to lighten up her already fair skin thus adding a sophisticated yet youthful look to her appearance.

Glancing at the clock, she realized that if she didn't head over to Hargeon Town soon, she would be late. Running towards the teleportation room, Yuna entered in coordinates to a concealed part of Hargeon Town as to avoid the odd looks she would most likely receive if she suddenly appeared out of no where. It wasn't long before she was heading towards the park that Daemon had told her to meet him in.

Walking towards the park, Yuna had time to admire the town's bustling nightlife. Curiosity filled her eyes for she had never seen the city so full of life. Her curiosity turned to that of nervousness as she neared her destination. Yet her nerves quickly disappeared as soon as she saw Daemon. He was leaning back against the park bench with a smile dancing on his lips. His smile made her heart race and she couldn't help but bite back a huge smile that was involuntarily starting to appear. "D-Daemon..!" she called out to him as she neared him. "I-I hope I'm not late..." She said as she took a seat on the bench next to him and gave him a quick peck on the lips. She blushed heavily. "I-It's beautiful at night here isn't it..?" she asked happily.

Daemon blushed as he looked up when he heard his name coming for a divine voice to see his girlfriend Yuna in a simple yet elegant knee length dress. He blush intensified when he quickly felt her lip on his after she sat beside him. Daemon smiled and returned the kiss then gently took hold f her hand and gave it light squeeze before whispering softly to her. "I.It is but it's even more beautiful now that your here my sweet fairy." He said with a heavy blush as he gently wraped his arms around her and began to cuddle with his beloved.

An Rune knight couple was walking through the park talking happily about their day when they noticed Daemon and Yuna cuddling on the bench. The couple abruptly stopped and stared at Daemon with a look of pure shock. The knights rushed up to the cuddling couple then saluted and shouted. KOTARO-SAMA YOUR ALIVE!!!!!"

Daemons eyes opened abruptly as he heard his father name. He looked up and saw two Rune knights Saluting him and exclaiming that he was alive and his own father... Kotaro Spade, ex general of the intelligence division of the Rune Knights and Daemon's father; had been dead for 18 years along with his mother leaving himself ,his sister and brother orphans. Daemons body cringed at the memory of his parents death and the fact that he was mistaken for him by two members of his dad's old unit.

Yuna's face turned various shades of red when Daemon returned the kiss. He took ahold of her hand and gave it a loving squeeze. "I-It is but it's even more beautiful now that your here, my sweet fairy." He replied before gently wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into a cuddle. Yuna smiled as she leaned against him. Her eyes full of adoration and love.

The young slayer had just closed her eyes to fully cherish the moment when she heard the sound of feet running toward them both. Yuna quickly opened her eyes to see a pair of Rune Knights coming towards them. She tensed as she waited for Knights to near them. What did they want? Her question was soon answered when the pair stopped in front of them and saluted. "KOTARO-SAMA!"  The Rune Knights exclaimed with both awe and admiration making Yuna jump. "YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!!"

She felt Daemon stir uncomfortably and cringe at the name. Yuna glanced up to see various emotions washing over Daemon. "D-Daemon...?" she whispered worriedly looking up at him. Giving Daemon's hand a light, comforting squeeze, she sat up and looked at the Rune Knights with a smile although her eyes held caution. The name had obviously unhinged him, but why? She decided to remain quiet. After all, it really was not the time to say anything else until the Knights left.

Daemon felt a surge of comfort flow through him as Yuna gave his hand a light squeeze. Daemon calmed down and sighed. "I'm sorry you two but I'm not the man you think I am ." Daemon said calmly as he looked at Yuna and gave her a weak smile as the Rune knights apologized and simply stated how uncanny how Daemon looked like their former leader. The female knight openly admitted on having a slight crush of Daemon's father and still carried his picture. Out of her breast pocket the woman took out their leader's picture and showed it to the young couple. In the picture was Daemon's father a near identical match to Daemon except for their hair and eyes. It' Uncanny how similar Kataro-sama and you are sir, If I didn't know better I'd even consider you his son or something... oh well sorry for bothering you two enjoy your night."

Daemon for the better part of the word felt sick he wanted to curl up and fade away. He felt that Yuna would lose faith in him or think that he was nothing more then a spy for the magic council. Daemon looked at Yuna's eyes and saw only worry and concern. Daemon gulped and turned towards Yuna and took out a picture of his father that was the exact same as the one the Rune Knight possessed.

"I'm sorry you two but I'm not the man you think I am." Daemon said calmly as he looked at Yuna and gave her a weak smile. The Rune knights simply apologized for the confusion and stated how strange and peculiar it was that Daemon looked like their former leader. Former leader? Yuna thought curiously. What were they talking about? The female Knight further continued the conversation with the addition of the crush she had once had for the man she had confused Daemon for. Yuna's cheeks flushed and she automatically leaned against Daemon. The female simply gave Yuna a knowing smile and wink before taking out a picture from her breast pocket.

Although Yuna could only glimpse at it for a short moment, the man looked extremely similar to Daemon. Yet the similarities stopped at the hair and eyes. Yuna looked at it in confusion, but didn't say a word. "It's uncanny how similar Kataro-sama and you are sir. If I didn't know better I'd even consider you his son or something..." the Rune Knight said. She thought for a while before bidding them both a goodnight.


Just as the Rune Knights left, Yuna frowned out of concern. She looked at Daemon worriedly. The picture had unsettled her, but she trusted Daemon. After all, they both had gotten fairly close and she was sure what he felt for her was genuine. Right? She looked straight into his eyes in search of an answer. What she saw were the deep pangs of hurt he felt. "Daemon..?" she asked. "Wh-Who is the man in the picture?"

Yuna noticed Daemon gulp as he turned fully towards her. Her heart clenched. Daemon sighed as he pulled a picture out of his pocket and to her surprise, it was identical as to the picture the two Knights had shown them. She hesitantly reached for the picture and took it from his hands. Her eyes scanned the picture. The similarities were quite obvious, but the man in the picture was a tad older. "Who is he?" she asked. The wheels in her mind began to work. The Rune Knights were much older than they so it could really only mean... "Your father..?" she asked. Daemon came from a Rune Knight family?
