    Job Info:

"Are you ready for the next chapter?" said the dark mage.

He turned to look back at his daughter, thinking about the guests she invited. He wondered who she might have brought.

It was just some time ago that she had inherited Nox Animus. It was some time ago that they finished the first chapter of Kaseki's Four Lessons of the Apocalypse. So what did the mad man have in mind this time?

"There's jewels," he said coldly, "and there's hunters." he smiled, "We're taking them both. We take the jewels for ourselves, and we take the lives of the hunters. Today's lesson is War."

He stood up, thinking about his mad ideas and insane plans. He had planned a large massacre. And with the power of his daughter and her guildmembers, it was all possible. "I have the map to the location, Yuna. We travel when we find the time is right. It will be a long journey, so I hope your friends are fit for the job.... and I hope they don't mind the sight of blood."

Kaseki loved his ideas... well... they weren't his ideas at all actually. The ideas of the Four Lessons of The Apocalypse was actually written by Kodai, the demon sealed in Kaseki. This whole thing began with a single messed up and twisted thought. That thought? Cleansing the world... with death. Kaseki had kept these lessons in mind for his own future use, and now was the time. He took the ideas and twisted them. His targets were not the innocents of the world, but the corrupted people of the world... as well as the magic council. Kaseki hated them all, he believed them to be corrupt.

"The weak will die, and the strong will survive. I hope you invited the best of Nox Animus, Yuna. I hope they're worth my time."

"Are you ready for the next chapter?" Kaseki asked the green haired fairy as he, most likely, prepared for the next lesson. Yuna nodded tiredly. After the first lesson, she was surprisingly ready for the second which was something she had not expected in the least. "There's jewels," Kaseki continued in a voice that Yuna couldn't help but wonder if it was Kodai who was speaking. "and there's hunters." Hunters and jewels... They had been hired as mercenaries... Kaseki then said with a smile, "We're taking them both. We take the jewels for ourselves, and we take the lives of the hunters. Today's lesson is War." War... The second of the four lessons and one in which Yuna held specialty in. She was, of course, in charge of the largest and prestigious mercenary guild in all of Fiore. "I have the map to the location, Yuna. We travel when we find the time is right. It will be a long journey, so I hope your friends are fit for the job.... and I hope they don't mind the sight of blood." Yuna, although used to the sight, shuddered at the thought. She didn't think she would ever get used to death and she hoped she didn't. "The weak will die, and the strong will survive. I hope you invited the best of Nox Animus, Yuna. I hope they're worth my time." Yuna nodded and sighed as she brushed her hands through her green hair, forming it into a ponytail. She tried not to show it, but she was having a hard time. She was very unsettled with everything. "I-I brought just one..." She said softly after a while. She referred to the mage by the name of John Walker. He wasn't the strongest of mages, but he did know how to hold his own. More importantly, his particular skill set would be incredibly useful. "H-He'll be here soon..." She hoped he wouldn't be late.

John looked around the ruins as he walked towards where Yuna had told him to meet her and Kaseki. He had been invited by Yuna to join her and Kaski on a quest in some Ancient Ruins, there was probably going to be some fighting which he didn't mind and ruins had a lot of things covering the light, which cast shadows upon the ground and was something he could make use of. Slowly he looked around the area, seeing Kaseki and Yuna up ahead he continued his slow paced walk, occasionally taking out a metal container and raising it to his mouth, sipping from the liquid inside. Some would call John an alcoholic as he was almost always drinking Whiskey, but he didn't care, there was a lot of things he didn't care about though. ´

As he got closer to the two he could see them more clearly, though he kept scanning his environment just so he could make a mind map of where they were and where the shadows were. John kicked a small stone as he walked and stretched his neck, stopping next to Yuna. "Yuna." He said with a nod and looked towards Kaseki. "Matchstick." He said and looked around them once more, remaining silent for a bit and taking out the metal container once more, taking a swig from it before putting it back inside his cloak. He had met Kaseki a few times before but had never really bothered to find out more about him, he was the founder of Dragon Fang, some group he had invited John to.

"So, plan?" he asked and looked at Kaseki, he seemed to be the one who had planned most of this stuff anyway and he was apparently Yuna's father, how a bunch of twigs could be a father didn't make sense to John, but then again, this was an odd world.

"... Very well." Kaseki said. He admired the man, despite his few words. There was many things he found displeasing of most people, but he looked past it. After all, they were all family in a way. He found he had more relations to most people that he even knew, he planned to keep it unknown. Kaseki looked at the map. The walk itself would be a day's hike east of the Dragon Fang headquarters.  He walked out of the door with a few words left to say, "Let's go kill things." Kodai was full of anger. This was one of few times he could be let out. Kaseki felt it was needed, after all, the hike was a long ways to go. On that path there was not much for Kodai to do. They were in the ruins, yes. But they were not at their destination. They needed to get a move on. Even if t was just a few miles away.

"The faster we make it there... the faster we get paid. It's time we show the world what Nox Animus could really do." said Kodai. It was odd to hear him say it. Kodai was known as the evil side of Kaseki, but in reality... there was 3 sides to the mage. There was the Chaotic Hero, Kaseki. He was the fallen hero of Lamia Scale. There was the corrupt Kodai, the demon within the hero. He alone was the shadow within. Then the final side... The one that no one could explain. The Chaotic villain, Kaseki, The Demon of Life. It was in that state that Kaseki loses control of who he is, and Kodai is not even enough to overpower the darkness in his heart. In that moment when Kaseki  becomes evil... There is no hope of going back.

    Kaseki is gone.

But a hero is just a story. A hero is just a myth. Heroes live as long as their legacy travels the word of mouth. Once the story dies at the lips, the hero is no longer immortal. It is in those moments... that the hero ceases to exist. It is in those moments... that the world grows dark again.

It was not long before the guild's shadow fire mage, John, showed up and headed towards to them. "Yuna," He said with a nod before looking towards Kaseki. "Matchstick." Yuna nodded in greetings and watched as he then took a metal container out of his pocket and took a swig of the liquid inside. Yuna shuddered as she remembered the icky taste of hard liquor from back when her spirit had been transferred into John's body. The taste of it was definately not something she wanted to remember. Erasing the memory from her mind as best as she could, she turned to Kaseki just as Mr. *cough* Paul *cough* Walker asked, "So, plan?" Kaseki glanced up at them. "... Very well." Kaseki said as everyone was there and ready to go. Looking down at his map and up at them again, he or more accurately Kodai simply said, "Let's go kill things. The faster we make it there... the faster we get paid. It's time we show the world what Nox Animus could really do."

The fairy just nodded slowly at Kodai's words. Although she disagreed with the mission they were about to do and still held her ideals closely to heart, she had long since realised that such things were necessary. It was Rhodes who had drummed into her mind that Death would come eventually to anyone and everyone. Just some deserved theirs to come quicker than expected. Those who have were considered irredeemable and have done great ill to the world were what Yuna grudgingly agreed to deal with. A feeling of approval and pride washed over her making the young guildmaster frown. "Now isn't the time... She thought quite upset. Still the feeling remained. She could feel Rhodes smiling and nodding her head in agreement with her thoughts. Yuna sighed. She was truly thankful that Rhodes was not strong enough nor capable of taking her over. "Sh-Shall we get going..?"

"You're the guildmaster of the guild. I am but a tool of destruction. All I'm here to o, is teach you the second lesson, War." Kodai's eyes looked deep into the soul of Yuna. "Can't you feel the wrath inside of you?" Kodai wanted to laugh at her, but found it not the time.

He was standing until he took a step in the direction of the door John had walked through. "Let us take this to the road. I hate to be kept waiting." Kodai said. He had nothing but the puddles of blood to look forward to. He was full of the great joy of death. The thing he appeared to be. But Kaseki was nothing like his father, or at least the being that adopted him. Kaseki was a paradox. His life was death. His being was undone. He was a demon yet an angel. His very soul questioned the world without saying a word. Kodai was the dark side. He would try to corrupt and persuade everyone to do his evil bidding..

When he had managed to get to the doorway, he looked back at Mr. Walker. He sighed upon his sight, "Perhaps you would take a step back to learn from today's lesson. It is for your benefit... travel with us, we help you get stronger." Kodai looked around the land for s place where the treasure would be. They would have to make haste.

This land of Fiore was full of people waiting to kill and arrest them. Kaseki in particular. Even though Yuna was a Dark Guildmaster, she was not known. As for John and his crimes, it was nothing to that of a Coming Storm. Kaseki was wanted to death, murder, of mages all over the land. He had a bounty on his head. And every time a Rune Knight got him...

"I said make haste. Let's go already." Kodai said.
