The gleams of the oncoming toll of noon was blanketing the natural life of the world. Rays of sunlight beamed through what could only be deemed as the forests rooftop, the scurrying of various animals to be heard but not seen. A familiarity of the dirt pathway sparked a memory to reveal itself. Playing in a pair of certain electric blue orbs, the light footsteps tapping against the soil were barely audible throughout the cliff environment. A form of excitement came bounding from within - very much apparent in a certain youngling's movements - as today was a day where weapons training would begin with a certain member from her team. Needless to say that Brielle's giddy behavior was an understatement to her excitement. For the first time, the girl would be able to spend time with just Emilia for a while. Even if the casual demeanor wouldn't be present for long unlike the missions they took part of in the past as the Army of Few, the moments were more than enough. The plans had been arranged an untold amount of time ago. The raven haired mage couldn't recollect when, but the time had been remembered with an excitement just waiting to burst forth.
Reaching a clearing on the Serene Cliff, the McCloud raised up her arms with her palms facing forward as she stretched to release the tension from her muscles. The training session was going to be a difficult one no doubt, but it was all the more worth it to be able to take in the basics of using one. It was going to prove much better than simply fighting with fists and feet as the mage had been doing ever since she learned how to defend herself. It was within that moment that Brielle let her arms fall to her sides with a soft sigh escaping her lips; her eyes observed the scenery before her once more as the familiar crashes of the ocean waves could be heard. Within a moment, a familiar flashback replayed in the depths of her mind - a memory that resurfaced from the past from a short time after she first joined. "Seemed like such a long time ago..." Her words were directed to nothing but the waves of time flowing through her system.
"Hey kiddo...d'you mind if I take a seat beside you?" he asked, before kneeling down so he was almost level with Brielle. He stared out at the ocean for a couple of seconds before turning to face the raven-haired teen. "You're new to the guild right? I suppose I ought to introduce myself. I'm Marick, Sabertooth's Paragon of Selflessness and Head Examiner." he stated as he offered his hand out to the McCloud. . .
Upon his introduction, Brielle's own pair of electric blue irises widened at the sudden knowledge of who this man was. With a slight form of clumsiness the young girl clasped her small hand around Marick's, shaking it gently as she returned the greeting with her own version of formality. "A-An honor and pleasure to meet you, Marick. My name is Brielle McCloud a-and I am indeed new to the guild."
For an unknown reason, such a meeting held purpose to her for a strong reason lingering within. Brielle felt the corner of her lips twitch slightly at the memory as she was left in wonderment as to why such a meeting would hold a much more impacting memory than all the other grand individuals she had met. There was something about Marick that the girl couldn't quite put her senses to figure out - a mystery that seemed to pull her in by his own pair of electric blue orbs. It was as if the girl had been staring in a mirror that day upon their first meeting. Truly a wonder, indeed...
Releasing a sigh from her pink lips, the raven haired mage shoved her pale hands into her pink jacket pockets while slowly becoming captivated by the ocean itself. It was certainly a way to pass the time while waiting for her new mentor to arrive at the location, and even a chance to relax while thinking of the past. The time spent within the guild was certainly the most fun she has had in quite some time, and the girl didn't regret a moment of any of it. From meeting the Guild Master Zenshin, to forming a team with Eli Validus and Emilia Crohil, to helping Aayla... Not one moment was looked upon with negativity as she stood there near the edge waiting for Emilia to arrive.
