Alongside his sadistic sense of humor is his play on the battlefield, toying with the enemies that he feels confident in taking down with ease. At his most critical moments he strikes quickly, and strikes deftly. Once his flips the switch in his mind, he won't spend time toying with them. When Kurei begins to combat his enemies, he grows sharp and relies on his intuition to give him the correct response to the enemies movements. Closely examining them , from every move, knowing that none of it is wasteful. After the switch is flipped, he no longer attempts to take prisoners, despite capturing omens for a job, killing a worthy opponent; or killing in general, has been his thing for quite sometime. As a leader Kurei tends to use his allies in divide and conquer tactics, or similar to isolating the enemy and neutralizing the target. He attempts to be reliable under his time of need, and craves the dawn of battle whilst others are under his wing. To become one of them strongest he must start somewhere... Under leadership Kurei tends to stray off course and have his own method of completing the task, unless it best suits a skirmish with other mages with skills around his same level. The only conditions he requires to best serve under someone is that they are competent in the art of warfare and modern tactics without really having to utter words past each other.

- small white powdered donuts, it's like taking hold of a childhood treat, and having you travel back to a more pleasant time.
- Making a big mess, by scattering other people's organs and blood everywhere, bringing a sick kind of satisfaction .
- Speaking with those of higher power and challenging them constantly to try and coup de grace.
Dislikes:
- goody-goodies, the sense of a innocent purity disgusts him and makes him want to hurl, figuratively of course.
- People butting into his duels, after working hard to out manuever the enemy, nothing upsets him more than the enemy Calvary ready to save him/her.
- Murderers, despite it sounding hypocritical, he believes his own reasoning can be justified, and not someone else's.
